This started wonderfully. The kids being stalked was intense & Miss Maggie's story was hilarious. The rest of the book didn't match the beginning but it was still good.

There is something very lyrical about this. The best Western I've read this year.

I thought this started in a strange direction but it quickly drew me in. It may not be better than Huckleberry Finn but it adds an interesting layer to it.
