So emotion filled and really captures Noah’s feelings in such a genuine way. I normally avoid single POV as I like to know what the other person in the couple is thinking. But this book really made it work, Ellery has enough going on and communicates well though that his side and story don't need to be told. It's Noah's story we're reading.
Not normally the kind of book I would pick up but really lovely.
Overall decent book. It did fall victim to the stupid 2nd climax many authors favour. This book had a whole lot going for it in my mind, the texting, the happenstance of meeting your friends boss via mistaken text message.
The biggest issues for me were the billionaire plot line...I refuse to believe anything is hard when you have more money than sense, it usually results in a whole lot of miss communication which I'm not a fan of. The other issue for me is the young MC, he cannot communicate and continually makes poor choices.
TW: Not to yuck anyones yum…But finger sucking post 🍑 fingering…not for me…
The 6th novella in this series really hooked me back in after a few that fell a little flat for me. It was steamy but far more focused on Kieran and his internal conflict about Lance. I'm really rooting for them.
I’m not well versed in the daddy/little life, but I enjoyed Kerry Kilpatrick's first book in this series. I fell for all the characters and loved their world.
This book felt great, it was like a hug, it just make me feel good. It was super relaxed. I think there were a lot of opportunities for angst and there was ample set up for it, but overall this book took a very chill approach to the issues between the characters. It makes since as they’ve been best friends for over a decade.
I have no doubt that the next book in this series will be just as good as the first two have been. However, I'm still waiting for Angus to get his book, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is.
I love when two broken people find each other. Frankie had spent he adult life doing good to compensate for the crap she was dealt as a kid, while Benji is still figuring his baggage out.
I Loved the first book in this series and this book totally held up. Loads of cameos by previous characters as Frankie's family and friends are a lead character all on their own.
The 3rd book is sure to be fun with it's himbo MMC.
The previous characters make cameos most especially in the bonus content
I’m still 100% enjoying these but the young virgin storyline really doesn’t resonate with me. I like me an older MC. I love the idea of older virgins, I would also love for there to be a little less heteronormativity.
I’m pretty sure book 4 will be similar. Hopefully there are more unique stories for the other gods.
Fun second instalment of L.A. Monteiro's Zodiac Monster Romance series.
The only reason this didn't match stars with the first one because I felt like the FMC was disconnected for too long and INSTANTLY into what was going on. There was no transition.
This whole series has been made up of super fun and quick reads. The characters all seem to make cameo's and feel like smaller parts of a whole.
I have a soft spot for Rhys Everly books so I didn’t even read the blurb. It had a couple things going for it: Rhys ✅ Texting (implied in the title) ✅ 1 chapter in and I find there will be fake dating ✅✅✅
I was instantly interested and love being surprised by the journey. I was super excited to get my hands on a copy of this
It had one gigantic red flag I tend to actively avoid and that’s it being a billionaire romance. BUT I was pleasantly surprised that it’s not a gulf in the relationship. The story flips what we think will happen on it’s self and really it’s Milo that has the power advantage.
While MM it has a strong “he falls first” vibe.
I loved it.
