I liked it until Anna woke up. Then it just went down hill. Rapidly

I actually really enjoyed this. When I read mysteries and thrillers now I judge the story based on of if I can guess what is going to happen at the end. If I can guess the twist.
And this twist blew me out of the water. I guessed the motivate but not the who. There were so many red herrings and we were being taken on so many directions for clues and it was so great.
I really truly enjoyed this one.
And it ended with a happy ending which I really appreciated

Above the Fire by Michael O'Donnell

I liked this book a lot because we didn't get to see the pandemonium happening like you normally would in a dystopian/catastrophic event book. Instead we see a father and a son trying to make do with what they have and how they try to keep the hope of a normal future while making the most of their time now. It was wonderful.

I liked the idea of this book a lot when I read the first few opening chapters. I was a little disappointed that the main character was a high schooler. I feel that this book could have been NA and been more enjoyable. I am curious to read the author's other two works that are not published and are still on Wattpad.
I enjoyed the last part of the book the most when Cupid, Cal, and Lilia let the other Myths out of their Sims. I hope they are talked about more in the other books because I would like to see the author's take on them.
I am also very intrigued at the hint of a love triangle at the end.
