বিভূতিভূষন এর লেখা, খারাপ তো আর হয়না। ছোটগল্প সংকলনের প্রায় সব কটা গল্পই ভাল লেগেছে, কিন্তু মনে রাখার মত তেমন কোনোটা লাগেনি। 
মায়া, তারানাথ, নুটি মন্তর সুন্দর।

Such an emotional rollercoaster. I loved the book. It was mostly a political and character story along with a fantasy overlay.
I didn’t realize that I had fallen for the characters so much. Incredible character work. Truly amazing. Experiencing Godfather all over again for the first time.

As a myth retelling it was really nice. The prose was beautiful. But my overall reading (listening) experience wasn’t fabulous. 
A good time pass though. The narrator was very good.

Carrie was an interesting book. About Stephen King's writing... he always makes the story and ending pretty obvious. And still makes the reader read untill the end. That's an amazing feat.

The religious fanaticism in the story was extremely repulsive. And the bully and hurtfulness of teenage kids was very well atriculated. King seems to write about supernaturals in a realistic setting. As the first published novel it was well crafted.

It's a psychological short story that had real life impact. It was such a short story and yet it was tense and hold true 

The domestication on women and leaving them ignorant like a child and treating them as one was a big part of this story. 

The slow descend into madness is potrayed really well and it was intriguing to watch.

And later I found out that this story has lots of symbolism at play. Really thought provoking.
