I'm kind of surprised this has such a high rating, but to each her own. I didn't expect the book to start the way it did because of the summary of the book. I wish it went a little bit more into Estelle and Wyatt's relationship because it seemed like there was a lot there that had to do with why she became the way she is, and I feel like the author could have gone into it more and tied it into her relationship with Oliver. Some of the writing got really corny at parts, but there were also moments that tugged at my heart strings. Definitely interested in seeing more of Mia and Jensen's story though!

I was about to give this a 4 star review But

Somewhere around 60% percent you'll feel as if they're just running in circles. You'll forget who is chasing who. It felt as if it was dragged on, and some chapters just added frustration. I was about to DNF around 90% because they kept on going back and fort.

Ms. Claire's work made me cry and braw my eyes out. Because of some lines but I was mostly crying because of frustration. If only she chopped some of the chapters down.

I hated Oliver because he's not man enough, he keeps this thing go on and on. He should have had a firm grip on things that he wanted in life. I doubt his love for Elle. He won't put her through that if she did. Elle should have just dated that British guy from the club. That guy can clearly see Ollie is just playing games with her.

And Elle, she should at least be firm in saying no to Ollie. Seriously one moment she's this tough girl but one holler from Oliver she comes running like a dog.

I cried because of what happens after 98% percent. (After she said yes to another date- stupid girl. Yes I was talking about the notes)
.
Oliver words squeeze my heart. He made me cry and happy. He had written perfect words. If you were to read this book, don't DNF or at least read the last part if you decided to.

I really enjoyed this! I wish I was better at writing reviews though so I could express all my feelings. Loved this book really. It's cute, and sad, and hopeful and amazing.

If you don't listen to ANYTHING else I have to say just hear this. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT listen to the audio of this book! The narration is so atrocious that if I had continued listening to it I would have probably given this book a 2 star rating. Yes it effected the story that much and yes I listen to a LOT of audio some I can just push through and it won't effect the story or my rating but not this one! HOLY cow I don't even think it should be sold because this book is SO SO good I love the story so much and the characters are amazing...when read...I am so glad I put the audio away and picked up the book.

It surely was a great book but maybe if I had read it another time it would have been better for me.

Elle and Oliver's non-relationship lasts for nearly a decade, with a lot of stop-and-go going on between them. Your heart can't help but break for Elle, who, in spite of an engagement with her late live-in boyfriend, always seems to set herself up for disappointment when it comes to Oliver aka Bean. There's no denying the depth of their feelings for one another, but Oliver appeared to take Elle for granted, constantly assuming that she would be there when he was finally ready for an actual relationship with her.

Oliver is a highly driven individual, with his primary focus on his education and then his medical career. There are reasons for his being as ambitious as he is, which certainly makes it easier to comprehend his actions. Still, there's no denying that there's a fair amount of frustration when it comes to his inability to commit to something (anything!) when it comes to Elle. Yes, he's always loved her, but doing absolutely nothing or the bare minimum to keep the connection going makes him increasingly unworthy of dear Elle.

This love story is more about having the right kind of love at the wrong time, especially considering how many opportunities Elle and Oliver had to be much more than they were for so long. Sometimes, a person simply wants to be secure in the knowledge that they matter and that the love they have for you is valued and appreciated. You can't help but wish people know the kind of gift they have in their hands, but sometimes, losing it is what makes opens your eyes to the truth. Kaleidoscope Hearts gets five-plus stars. ♥
