I literally got through this book in ONE day! And let me tell you, I couldn’t put it down.

So we have our main character Stella who I personally related to her character on many levels. I thought she was pretty interesting to read about, and a sweet sister.

I loved ‘The Heartbreakers’ too, mainly because of their light humor, and their friendship with Stella.

The ‘plot twist’ in the ending is too dramatic in my personal opinion, but I think the epilogue thawed (I don’t know?) nicely making the book even more worth reading.

Although the book is quite cliché and a bit fast paced, I personally love it so much. One of my favorite novels and Ali Novak is one of my favorite authors.

Blown away by another guilty pleasure, easy Summer read! I finished this book in one sitting and it was a serious page turner. I always loved reading fanfiction on Wattpad and since this was a Wattpad original story I knew I had to pick it up.
17 year old Stella is willing to do anything for her twin Cara who is suffering from cancer, including waiting in line to get her favorite boyband signatures. Unfortunately, Stella can’t stand these boys until she gets to know one of them without knowing his identity. Her and her brother Drew become fast friends with the whole band throughout the course of one crazy, unforgettable night.

The story follows the inside of pressures of what it’s like to be a teenager and in the spotlight and I thought the development of Stella’s character throughout the book was outstanding! This book is for anyone craving a romantic, fun (though slightly unrealistic) storyline. The only thing that bothered me was that the parents seemed to be a little neglectful of their other two children, since the focus was on Cara and her illness. Though, the story was mainly about growing up and being independent so I suppose it wasn’t enough to knock a star off of my rating!

I received an e-ARC copy of Rock Hard from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The Heartbreakers is a light contemporary romance read. It's cute and fuffly with a little bit of angst thrown in.

The story is about Stella, who has passion for photography and a dislike of the Heartbreakers. Her sister, Cara is a big fan of this boy band called The Heartbreakers but she couldn't attend any events because she has cancer and is in the hospital. Stella and her brother Drew planned to give birthday present for their sister by going on a road trip to see The Heartbreakers and get Cara memorabilia autographed by them.

Stella meets this attractive guy on Starbucks but she didn't got his name. At the signing, she recognizes the guy. Surprise, he's actually the lead singer for the Heartbreakers, Oliver Perry. But she doesn't like him, except maybe she does?

My favorite part was the relationship between Stella and her siblings. I liked that she wanted to be part of the triplets but at the same time she wanted to be her own person. I really actually liked Drew.

Oliver and Stella were okay.

liked Oliver. I did. But I can't say that he was my favorite character. I'd say that out of the 4 boys, Alec is my favorite, then Xander, and then it's a tie between JJ and Oliver. I actually found myself wishing she'd go for Alec or Xander instead of Oliver, but oh well, beggars can't be choosers.

I thought it was hilarious how Stella had no idea who Oliver was when she ran into him at Starbucks, but that's only because I could see myself doing the exact same thing. It was absolutely hilarious when Stella shouted at Oliver and the other guys. I thought that was a nice twist, instead of her falling all over herself just because they're famous. I also liked the fact that the guys all kind of took Stella under their wing and watched out for her.

This book kind of had an insta-love thing going on, and sometimes I find that really annoying, but with this book it didn't bother me as much.

I loved that Stella pushed Oliver out of his comfort zone and that she {along with a little coaxing from his band mates} was the one to convince him that the band needed to play some of their old music.

I also really really liked the relationship that Stella has with her brother and sister. It's an unbreakable bond, and they'd all do anything for each other {something Stella proves when she stands in line FOREVER just to get an autograph for her sister} And I just so happen to share a birthday with the three of them, so that's pretty cool.
