My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

Disclaimers: I received a copy of this novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not obligated to write a good review nor did I receive any compensation for writing this review.

Why did I decide to turn the pages? The cover looked fantastic and I've enjoyed previous things by this author.

My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: I really adored the book. It was interesting and stood out from several other New Adult books I've read recently.

I thought Cindy did a great job of creating quirky, entertaining characters who were enjoyable to read about.

The name Memory did throw me for a loop though. Who names their kid Memory?

The writing was fast paced, and I thought that the plot was interesting. Without giving any details away or spoiling anything, a lot of the plot reminded me of "A Walk to Remember." Now, I'm not talking about the ending--just the overall book. Girl who's sick who's only parent is a dad. Starts dating a guy. Doesn't tell him she's sick...you get the idea.

However, Memory was far from being like the girl in the book. She was a kick-butt character, a daredevil, and intense.

Major Strengths: Meaningful books and an engaging plot.

Major Weaknesses: Dragged a bit at times.

So why 3 stars? A fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed, but it wasn't quite of a 4 star caliber.

Can I read the series out of order? Yes, although be prepared to want to read the previous two afterwards.

Warnings/Side-notes: New Adult. References to sex (fairly vague) and references to drinking.

The Wrap-up: A book that I'm glad I took a chance on.

Love,

ARC Kindly offered in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first Cindy Miles book and I wonder how I didn't know about her before this. I was instantly hooked, the characters were witty and sarcastic, and I felt that this made them very relatable.

"My f***ng* ovaries just started breakdancing. Old school style. Like 1984"

As Memory began to fall for Jace, so did I.

"And a buttery-voiced, muscular, bow-legged cowboy with soulful eyes recognised a quote from Titanic, and gave me a grin. Yeah, thats when I fell for Jace Beaumont.
Only, I didn't really know it.
Not until it was way, way too late."

And so it begins. I was constantly waiting for the hammer to drop about Memories secret, and that kept me in suspense yet frustrated me at the same time.
And then it happens, the secrets out.
I don't want to ruin it for anyone so I won't say any more other than how I felt for the last part of the book. I agree with other reviews saying they wish there was an epilogue, so we could see how the story gets wrapped up and if they get the happily ever after, like so many other novels do. However, at the same time I feel the last chapter summed things up in a fitting way. Quite a few feels at the end of this book, but it was a great ending and a really fun read. Now I need to go and read the first two. Well done Cindy Miles, this one had me hooked.

Stupid Love begins when Memory needs a tow, and a the really cute tow truck guy, Jace, comes to help. The problem is he wasn't exactly very nice, but Memory can't seem to stay away from him. She's pulled in my something she never thought possible.

However, Memory is filled with secrets, secrets that could hurt herself and those around her. But she just wants some normalcy for a little while.

Jace just wanted to study and be done with it all. But when Memory comes around he can't get her out of is head, and he can't stay away even though he wants to.

These two form a relationship rather quickly. But soon Memory's secrets will come back to haunt them all.

This book was really good. I adored Memory! She was a breath of fresh air. I loved how she interacted with people, and how you could really tell she was a major happy go lucky person. I adored that.

I also really liked her and Jace together. This book made me a cry a few times as well as make me laugh! I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

The only thing that bothered me was the cheesy dialogue at first, and the fact that we don't learn a whole lot of Jace's secrets. At least, it wasn't explained in this book. I was a little frustrated with it, but other than that this one was really good!

{actual rating: 1.5}

I read Stupid Girl right before this one just so that's would have a general idea as to what the environment was like, and I enjoyed it for the most part. So then I went into this book expecting to have the same feelings as I did with Stupid Girl, but I was sadly mistaken.

This book, was pretty much a role reversal of Stupid Girl. The author literally used an exact line from Stupid Girl and used it in the same way it was used in SG (but this time said by a different character to a different character). I also had no connection with any of the characters, they were just kinda there and had to really push myself to get through this.

I'd recommend reading Stupid Girl instead.

Another book not for me. I found the secondary characters to be obnoxious. Maybe that is how all 22 year olds are but they just seemed extra annoying in this book. I had no connection with the main characters and I hated how they kept saying each others full names. I especially didn't like how she kept changing from calling her dad "dad" and then his name Max. It drove me crazy.

Stupid Love is the third and final book in the New Adult contemporary romance series, Stupid in Love. Stupid Love is the story of Memory and Jace. It is a companion book to Stupid Girl, and Stupid Boy, but like the first two books it focuses on a new couple. This is a very popular trend in new adult. Series books, each featuring a novel that "stands alone" about a different couple. While I typically like series to follow the same characters, I do enjoy romances in this vein if the characters are well done and if each book is able to feel complete on its' own. Cindy Miles does an excellent job with each of those things, and it is for those reasons that I love her Stupid in Love series so much.

Stupid Girl made my favorites of 2014. I loved it so much! I really liked Stupid Boy a lot too, but it was hard to recreate the love that I felt for Olivia and Brax, the couple from the first book. Stupid Love came right in the middle of books one and books two as far as my love of the couple. Olivia and Brax are still my favorite but I did love Memory and Jace a lot. So if I had to pick, I would say that I enjoyed this book less than the first book, but only by a little. It is my second favorite in the series.

Memory has had a hard past, and she still has some secrets that are held just out of reach of the readers (and Jace) for most of the story. Nope, I'm not ruining the secret! I loved watching Memory and Jace interact. Their story line was nothing revolutionary in the world of New Adult. Set at college- memory has lost her parents and Jace works and like to keep his nose out of drama, but it totally worked for me. Cindy Miles does such an excellent job with he characters and with telling a story and building up her romance that the cliches worked in the favor of the story. I really felt every single struggle and up and down. Stupid Love, and the whole stupid in love series, feels very emotional and raw. I just love this series.

The Stupid in Love Series is an excellent addition to the new adult genre. The romances are rich and gratifying. These are feel good books and they are so well done. If you have not read this series yet, you need to. But start with Stupid Girl. Each of the books work as standalones and can be read independently, but Stupid Girl is so amazing. So trust me and read that one first. Stupid Love is a high quality romance between two tortured individuals. If you are a fan of new adult romance that is well done, this series is a must read!
