Absolutely loved this book and the way it ended! Their daughter Maddie was a cutie pie from beginning to end and I’m so glad the mc’s were able to work it out together to give her the proper family their little one deserves 🥹🫶

I loved this and listening to it on audiobook elevated the experience. I rooted for the MCs so much and loved the unveiling of their past relationship alongside their current relationship rebuilding. The flashback scene with her mum was really needed and tied things together well. A second chance romance done well in my opinion. I will probably always find this author comforting to read and so I will definitely be revisiting this again.

this was amazing. I have mostly sara to thank for this incredible reading experience. this was so beautiful. the characters were flushed out well, loveable and I absolutely loved maddie. I never like kids in books because I don't see myself have a kid, but maddie was so cute. I wish I could spend another 448 pages with these characters. it hurts to think about the fact that my favourite characters are not real and are not just living their lives rn. I think sara and des can relate :)

i admit, second chance romances aren't my favorite or most read genre, but this story was heartbreakingly beautiful.

i admit i rooted for the mcs very early on. how can you not? their chemistry since they were teenagers was incredible.

“You’re the queen, baby…. I’m just a commoner.”

kennedy. jesus christ, that woman is so fucking selfless. so strong, smart, resilient, funny. and jonathan, the world of pain that man went through himself and was so desperate for a redemption at love and trust. oh and maddie, my sweet little cinnamon roll. she got to have her two heroes in the end.

such a beautiful family and their happily ever after made me so happy.

This was amazing! I enjoyed reading this so much. I don't like second chances romances , I don't actively look for them but this was really good. For some reason I pictured this book taking place in the early 2000s because that's what it reminded me of lol.  I loved the way the past timeline of Kennedy and Jonathan's relationship was told. I thought that was a really unique way of showing the past timeline. It wasn't boring at all which I loved. I loved all of the characters. Their daughter Maddie was so adorable and actually written as a child which was great because some authors write five year olds who talk like they're 45.

I also really liked the second chance aspect in this book. The reason why they broke up was very valid which is another reason why I think I enjoyed reading this so much because the number one reason why I hate second chance romances is because most of the time the reason why the characters broke up in the first place is so stupid. I liked the reconnection between them. Overall this was a really great read and I'd highly recommend.
