Selese juga baca ceritanya si tusuk konde, ups, Conde Cezar.
Dikasih 4 bintang, sama aja kayak ceritanya Styx. Bagus tapi g bikin excited banget ;p

Sayang nih, terjemahannya beberapa ngaco.

Dastan, kejar setoran sih sah - sah aja. Tapi perhatikan kualitas terjemahan juga dong #jedug!

My pic cast of Conde Cezar [cool]

I continue to like the series, I think it is the characters that I like the most. In this story we have a a Vampire hero and a heroine unaware of the magic that lies within her. Cezar met an incredible woman two hundred years ago, but he got punished by the oracles and now has to serve as her protector. While Anna is angry that Cezar disappeared two hundred years ago with no explanation, she then finds her family dead and Cezar returns to protect her. I liked following the story as they fought their connection and attraction.
I enjoyed the story as much as the previous book in the series and look forward to the next book. This is definitely a series that I like and recommend.
xx

I finally got a book in this series that was really worth the hype. Anna Randal was watching out for her cousin when she got pulled into a dark room and her life changed FOREVER.
200 years later, Anna finds Conde Cezar and she is bound to make him pay for taking a bite of her.

First of all, Anna is no simpering female. Second, she is a geninely thoughtful person. I have noticed that the women in this series are kind hearted. One took in a gargoyle, another is a vegetarian despite being a werewolf, Anna is a champion of those needing justice. the women also seem stronger (in magical power) than their mates, so that's cool too.

In this story, Anna wasn't going to let Cezar just blindly lead her or lie to her. She wanted a full partnership and it made Cezar respect her.
BTW, I am quite amused by the french gargoyle

I think I was a little frustrated with the non-communication on this one. Also the justice vs revenge that surfaces in the end, made me a little irritated. So what, women, all women of this series, have to be selfless and forgivers and all men alpha fighters? I'm sure that is not the case but so far we got the vegetarian werewolf, and all the women balk at killing bad people that have been trying to kill them or their partners. OK, that is not so bad but... I guess along with the frustration of the non-communication, it grated. I liked the couple but they had they're first tryst 200 years before. I think the way the meeting in the future takes place doesn't spark the chemistry but took away somewhat. So although I liked this one, I just didn't like it as much as the last 2.

I really liked Anna and Cesar's story. It started a little slow but quickly picked up. With each book this world expands on the different sects of creatures and revealing more unique creatures. I really love this unique world and can't wait to see what the next book unveils.

My Rating :
Star : 3.7/5
Bikini : 2/5

The books in this series keep getting better and the vampires keep getting hotter!

Cezar is tasked by the Oracles to Anna, protect a woman that he met two hundred years earlier. She was a wallflower at a ball who followed him in an attempt to protect her cousin from his clutches. He had a bad boy reputation. Instead, she found herself seduced, her virginity and her blood taken, and then dumped. But it was the most memorable night of her life.

Two hundred years later, Cezar and Anna are back together. He has to protect her from the Morgana Le Fay, Queen of the Fairies. She wants Anna dead.

Their journey takes them to unexpected places and brings all sorts of changes and challenges to their relationship. But from the first moment they meet again, their mate bond keeps the attraction between burning.

Another fun read. I loved Anna's strength and sheer courage. She transformed herself from a wilting wallflower to a strong, modern woman. How could Cezar resist?!

This series makes so much more sense if you start at the beginning. The author is still introducing new paranormals, cultures and politics. I still like the strong and snarky heroines, and I still like the broody vampire heroes.
