Loved getting further into these stories. Loved spending more time with Ciri. Can't wait to keep reading the series.

An excellent read. Even though this is technically the first official book in the series it is so much better to have read the short stories first! I could not be happier with all of the little callbacks to the short stories. It added so much depth to everything going on in the story.

Blood of Elves seems to be the primary influence for season 2 of the show - though clearly not followed to the T. I enjoyed the plot of the book just as much (if not more) than the show. The way Geralt and Yennefer interact with Ciri on their own is so interesting.

There were so many scenes where I audibly laughed because of how it is written. It is a unique balance of witty dialogue, interesting side characters, and callbacks that just get me! And I never usually laugh aloud at books or TV shows.

Honestly, no notes. This writing style may not be for everyone but I am throughly enjoying it!

Thought it was a bit slow, but still liked it because of the writing (well translated!)

I liked this installment in the Witcher series way more than the two short stories collections before it. I loved to see the interaction between Ciri and Geralt and because of this missing at the end of the book, I cannot give it a full five stars. I am definitely interested to see where the series goes.

Good but same problems as the other books. The plot is really interesting and the author enjoys putting all the characters in morally questionable situations. Very bad translation though.
