I did not take to this book right away. I almost decided to stop reading it because I was not enjoying the story and how it was coming together. However, I have awarded this novel five stars!!! This is thanks to it's message, that a mother protects her child and the introduction of new characters. Brooke was one that I loved. Her personality and character was much like Win and how they are able to relate to each other and know each other on deep level. It made me so happy that she kill the woman that caused her pain. I was, there are no words as to how I felt when I got to the last page and it revealed that Win had a daughter!!!!! And that she is dating Mickey. Myron got married, finally. His dream come true. I found it interesting that Coben decided to write from the perspective of Win if only for a few chapters. I gave me a real insight and I realised how my perception of Win was wrong. And how he is not so cold as you would think but in fact just does not express himself. I that that the ending of this novel was one the best ones that I have come across.

One of the best Bolitar books. I love the installments where the mystery revolves around a big lie told to cover up an even bigger lie because that always provides the satisfaction of a twist right at the end.

I also got reminded that I need to check out the Mickey Bolitar series like I meant to when I originally read this six years ago.

Wow. Just, wow. I'm not entirely sure what I think of this one. Some unexpected things that, considering the characters, probably shouldn't have been so unexpected for me but... it happens.

Entertaining page-turner, although the plot was far-fetched and the ending almost laughably unbelievable. But overall it kept me interested and was a fun summer beach read.

It's been quite a few years since I last tried a Myron Bolitar book. The last one I read wasn't too hot. Don't ask me which one that was, because Coben's titles are so generic I can never remember which is which. Anyway, HOME worked really well for me. I loved the bromance between Myron and Win, the humor, the pathos, and the plot kept me guessing the entire time. There was no way I could foresee what would be revealed. Coben is really great at the eccentric supporting cast too. I also really liked the intermittent chapters written from Winn's point of view. Perhaps I should try that Win focused novel Coben wrote, aptly entitled WIN.
