Self distanced talk (referring to yourself in the first name, reframing the threat as a challenge, thinking of yourself as though you’re advising a friend, even having a lucky charm as a placebo) & chatter support (realising when you’re just ruminating with each other and making it worst for both of you) are the big take aways.

Also - we need our inner voice, both for survival and enjoyment, we just need to know how to harness it.

good but not deep enough in my opinion. also, i had the feeling that sometimes we would jump too fast from one example to the next without really addressing the issues or the doubts of the theories. i wish it would have given more reliefs on some « facts » especially the part on how green spaces can help us but it did the job though of making me curious about that specific point.
anyway, it was interesting and i will try out the different tips given but i do end up feeling a bit restless on the veracity of some - apart from them, i recommend this read!
