Brilliant book, sequel to The Sight. The unique description of wolves and humans is fascinating and the plot keeps you entertained till the last page. Filled with allusions and moral values cleverly hidden

It was an ok book. I found it about the same as Sight. It had a couple of fast paced parts where I just couldn't put it down, but for the most part I just didn't get it into it.

This book is not as good as the original, but it is still a good read.

I loved the book. I loved how it got on my toes and made me think of what come next.

The Sight and Fire-Bringer were some of my favorite books when I was in high school. I don't know if they would still hold up upon re-read, but I remember thinking they were engaging with interesting philosophical ideas about animal minds and nature. I don't know if this book was simply not as good as The Sight or if my reading tastes have changed - I didn't go back and re-read anything before grabbing this one from the library. Overall it was fine but I did find myself just scanning through sections, and I wasn't particularly interested in the human side of the story.

Awesome. Just as good as the first book in the series.

This book was enjoyable, and tied together a lot from The Sight. There were parts I wasn’t fond of, like the overuse of last names and the accents being written out.

Slow start, but gets better as more of Fell and the wolves pov is introduced. Starts to feel like The Sight (an all time fave of mine) and is an interesting continuation.
Spoiler Paula and Huttser’s deaths were sad but needed, and I really enjoyed that Morgra was able to find peace. She was such an interesting character and I’m glad that she was able to have such a fitting end
Rated 4.25 and not 5 stars just because the first section ‘The future’ was hard to get through at times, because I can’t really say I cared too much about Alina and her plot.

Prefer this over The Sight. My biggest problems with David Clement-Davies is he repeats things too often, he procrastinates as he writes and he drags things out FAR too much. In no universe were 500+ pages needed to tell this same story. Cut out all the copy and paste jobs and repetitive strains of thought and we'd be left with 320 or so pages. This novel could have been so much better. Enjoyable but it doesn't DO enough to become a favourite. Also noticed there is far less death and explicit violence in this novel compared to the previous two of a similar vein.

An interesting read, for sure. I was glad to see Fell getting a story after most of The Sight was about Larka. Some aspects were better than others, but overall, not a bad book. I did enjoy it! I'm a sucker for talking animal books.
