Still beautiful book, but the ending was not satisfying.

Even weirder than the two before it. Odd, enchanting and intriguing.

Not sure why but this book didn’t connect with me. Perhaps the introduction of a sinister third party into the correspondence took time away from Griffin and Sabine. Perhaps it felt like Griffin was more in love with Sabine than she with him. Something was off.
I still enjoyed the book and some of the letters in particular were great but perhaps the conceit is getting old. The last postcard was also vague - I want to know if Griffin finally met Sabine etc. I little more of a hint would be appreciated. I get that spelling it out would be too much but still.
This feels like the author was setting up more books than trying to resolve this one. For that I couldn’t give it a higher rating.

The postcard and letter designs are very cool, and the execution is novel, but I didn’t really connect with either Griffin or Sabine and their love for each other feels trite. Possibly because the books go by so fast and I’m used to more narrative driven encounters, this one might just not be for me.

"I got chills, they're multiplying, and I'm losing control! 'Cuz the power you're supplying... it's electrifying!"
Yep.
That about sums it up.

While I expected to ask a lot of questions to unveil the whole trilogy's mystery, more specifically the extraordinary telepathy and correspondence, I did not like how it ended. It may have been a happy ending for Griffin and Sabine but I felt I needed more of that suspense from Victor in this finale.
But I still recommend this series especially if you like opening letters, reading postcards, and you are into experimental and abstract art. ;)
