As always I love heading to Bliss, Colorado and spending time with my favorite town of eclectic people.

James and Noah were brothers and the best of friends until a woman comes between them. They go their separate ways and don't speak for years. James brings in a partner to help him with the ranch and keep it afloat while Noah learned just what the woman who came between the brothers was really all about. Now Noah is coming home to Bliss but along the way he manages to pick up James' long time crush Hope who has car trouble.

James is anything but happy to see Hope in Noah's arms let alone returning to Bliss. Hope has found peace, safety, and friends in Bliss. She is running from a past that can destroy her when it catches up with her. While the brothers have to come to terms with their own pasts as well as the fact they are both attracted to Hope.

This is the sixth book in the series and as always I love returning to Bliss. It is the town I want to live in. Even though it does have a high murder rate (they import it all as the locals will tell you.) This is also a book where we see that maybe Henry wasn't always the pacifist we think he is. He will do whatever it takes to protect the town and woman he loves. At first glance bliss may seem like a town full of crazy people but once the layers are pulled back you see just how much love and understanding the people of Bliss have.

Another strong book in a wonderful series. Every character is deep and real, and Sophie Oak handles genuine emotions beautifully. Yes, there are some things about Bliss, Colorado which (at best) fly in the face of probability, but each book (that I've read) from this series is a perfect example of what an erotic suspense novel should be.

This one was good, but not as good as the others have been. I feel like I'm left wanting a lot. We didn't get quite the same amount of fun and humour. It was there, but just not up to the previous books. I think I really hated that James was knowingly hurting Hope by being a stubborn idiot. Most of the other guys were also stubborn, but they didn't necessarily know that what they were doing was hurting the girl. And I just wanted more. More fun-loving James. More about Noah, seeing him with animals. It was like him being a vet was just a side thing, and as someone who loves animals I was excited to read about a vet hero.... I kept thinking he would help with Red. Just, anything more. Not enough. Or maybe I wasn't in the right mood. Who knows. It just seemed more formulaic than the previous books I've read by Ms. Oak. Maybe I need an Oak break.

I wasn't a big fan of James most of the time. He was just kind of a jerk. I think I had a harder time believing them in a MFM relationship because they seemed to fight all the time.
However, I did like Noah and Hope. I also liked the added danger that Hope's past brought so that helped me overcome my issues with James. Hope dealing with her former addiction added some depth to her story. You see these characters as flawed people trying to redeem themselves and that makes them more relatable.

I am always happy to dive into a Lexi Blake Bliss book, they just make me happy. I love the characters of this town and that is what they are, true characters. Their personalities and quirks just make me giggle and wish that I could find a little town like that to call my own. A place where everyone is accepted for who they are (unless you are trying to hurt one of their won) and where they stand side by side with one another against prejudices and hatred. I love how they protect their town, their friends, their loved ones, and their way of life.

I have to say I went into this one thinking I wasn't going to like the prodigal son. In the beginning he really came off as a jerk, I mean I got what was going on, he was a 'lost boy' who thought he had been found, but the way he just walked away rubbed me the wrong way. Of course I think that was the intent all along. Noah needed to be able to come back in to the fold and prove that he was truly as much a part of the town to himself more than anyone else. He had to see that he was needed, wanted, and desired, not for the family he grew up with, but for the man he was. James...James, so many times I kinda wanted to thump him on the head, a very hard head! That man is stubborn but in the end he had to be to keep his world together after everyone he loved had left him, in some instances abandoned him. Oh and Hope, this woman stole my heart. She fought her way from a naive young lady to a battle tested woman who never once lost her heart. She is so full of light and love, but do not let that misjudge her, this woman has a spine of steel and is not afraid to straighten it. She reminded me a bit of sweet Nell!

These Nights in Bliss books are a true guilty pleasure that bring more to the table than just a steamy romance, but characters that you will fall in love with and a community that you will want to be a part of. They are a wonderful escape from the real world and should be a must read on your TBR!

~ HAPPY READING ~

I'm not sure how many times I can say this without being redundant...but here goes...Lexi Blake is one of the absolute best writers when it comes to books about relationships that aren't traditional.

This is no exception. Add in that one of the men is named Noah (why do I love that name so much??) and you have a fun, hot, romantic story about Hope, James and Noah.

And, for those of you who have read this one before... it's still worth it, as there's new content to keep you engaged as well...although, it's no hardship to do a reread of this one.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
