I very much wish I hadn’t read this and just left Mia and Lucas after Frenched to live happily ever after. I think she forgave him way too fast, his reasons were pretty shit and I really dislike how she basically folded after they had sex.

3 things Lucas should've done:
1. Grovel
2. Grovel
3. GROVEL!!!

I don't know about Mia but if I were her, my petty ass wouldn't meet Lucas at the hotel. I want him to come to me and grovel hard. But at least, he changed for her. I mean, they eventually got married and had Ellie. Now I need to reread her book.

I don’t know how I feel about this book.

For one, Lucas got away with so much so easily. It was red flag after red flag after red flag and I was like… bro, if Mia had been my friend, I would have told her to dump his ass IMMEDIATELY.

I felt like a book with this kind of conflict should have been a full book, not a novella. Because now I’m not convinced Lucas and Mia were right for each other, whereas I fully rooted for them in the first book.

Review ❤️❤️❤️

Category – Contemporary

A lighthearted contemporary novella between an event planner heroine and a bartender hero. Themes include fate, and fear of commitment. This is a very easy read with a happy ending.
