This part was a bit better than the first book in the series, I dont know if its because I got used to the writing style or what.

Plot-wise, it was a lot better than the first book, where there was some semblance of a plot present.

Unfortunately, complaints from the first book still stand; it read like a wattpad book, the relationships are all over the place, people are suddenly falling in love when they've barely hung out enough to develop a relationship.

That also goes to friendships as well; when one of the characters died, it was all like, "omg how will *blank* deal with it, they were best friends," when we've never, not once, seen them interact other than in passing?

Also, dont even get me started on how childish the characters are? I dont feel like the author has done enough research to accurately write these characters with all the supposed trauma they carry. It's either that, or their writing is just not strong enough to portray the characters how they want them to be portrayed. The characters just seem very 2 dimensional to me, which is a disappointment, because I wouldve loved to empathise with them.

I dont know what's gonna happen in the next book... am I gonna read it? Probably? Am I gonna enjoy it? Probably not? Why will I read it? I have no clue, maybe because the potential malexmale relationships in the book intrigue me?

what a ride!!

Seriously Rory’s story continues & is such a hot mess but in the best way!! This is so dramatic & the love plot is really rough & heavy but it’s just kind of the path they all have to take to get to where they need to be!! This one hurt though & was super emotionallll! I need to be healed soon!!

I'm not sure if I want to continue with this series. Rory really annoyed me with the way she treated others, and I lost interest a lot in this one.

Tear jerker

This book made me cry so bad. Rory makes beautiful bonds with the people in her life in another very well written book in this series. Once again an amazingly written book by a very talented author.

Oh this series. I want to love you more. The main character drives me FLIPPING crazy. I get wanting to rebel, and be independent and not be told what to do by any man... but she takes it to a whole other extreme. I love the male characters in these books though I feel attached to all of them. I freaking BAWLED during a part of this book so FYI. I also had a problem with constantly comparing to the Madison Kate series by Tate James that I read to weeks ago. Which maybe why I am having a hard time with it. I read book 1 and 2 back to back and I don't know that I care enough to finish the series. The writing is great, and I will absolutely read more by this author, I just can't connect with the female lead.. she drives my crazy and I find my self internally yelling at her to just shut up and do what she is told for once.
