I think there is a lot of thoughtful examinations into mood and self here, but you have to wade through the author's tantrums to find it. I was sympathetic and eager to learn from her, but this author and I just don't mesh well.

I thought this book was fine. I follow Words of Women on Instagram and found the writer through this, figured I’d give her book a try. I like the quotes she sources and found her personal stories really enjoyable, but generally I think the book was a little too straightforward for me. The advice felt obvious and the writing felt simple.
