Interesting idea that appears to work. Might have to try it out. Recipes look good and easy to make.

Interesting concept! It has been discovered that eating an extremely calorie restricted diet can add years to your life but who wants to do that all the time. The fastdiet is a modified version using intermittent fasting. Oh and you are probably going to lose weight while using this method to attain longevity.

Is this the Aitkins of our time?! Having watched the Horizon programme a year ago, I thought I'd check out the book (hint - it's pretty much a repeat!) It all sounds a bit too good to be true, but that doesn't stop it from also being rather tempting... you can lose 10lbs in 10 weeks of 2 day a week fasting, apparently, but I'm pretty sure that depends on how much you have to lose in the first place, and as I'm not massive I think 10lbs in 10 weeks isn't going to happen (my mother would also freak out!) - but I still might give it a go next term and report back!

One thing I did find rather annoying is the not insignificant section given over to testimonials, including ones people have posted on mums net etc - reaked massively of being a filler to me!

Good and clear explanation of the science and how to do intermittent fasting with case studies and personal story from the English doctor from the documentary Eat.Fast.Live Longer that started the interest in intermittent fasting. Some measurements are in the metric system.

OK introduction with lots of antidotes. I did a lot of youtube research before reading this and didn't really find anything new, in fact because of the age, I think you can get more up to date information online and in a more engaging way.
