Beautiful. Disaster. Roller coaster of emotions!! I went from loving them to hating them to loving them again... and again!!! It took me through a whirlwind of emotions. I couldn't put the darn book down. I found myself in a bad mood when they were having a breakup and playing mind games, and in a good mood when they were happy.

"I know we're fucked up, all right? I'm impulsive and hot-tempered, and you get under my skin like no one else. You act like you hate me one minute, and then you need me the next. I never get anything right, and I don't deserve you... but I fucking love you, Abby. I love you more than I've loved anyone or anything, ever. When you're around, I odn't need booze or money or the fighting or the one-night stands... all I need is you. You're all I think about. You're all I dream about. You're all I want."

Seriously a mind fuck! I loved it!

My Travis...(hope this works :) )

I've left a few books unfinished in my life time and unfortunately this book is one of them. I don't know why but I just didn't want to read it after the chapter 'jealousy'. Everything had been excited and well but after that chapter it was like the magic was gone. I know it is one of the #1 bestseller book but it was a little bit boring for me :(

All I have to say is WOW! That is it! I honestly I have no words that can describe just how much I adored this book. I will try but be warned I may ramble and not make sense. So here goes..............

Usually when there is a lot hype around a book it rarely lives up my expectation. However, Beautiful Disaster is without a doubt one the best I have ever read. I was completely blown away by this. I had been told on many ocassions to read this book. And I have no idea why it took me to so long. I was hooked from page one.

Beautiful Disaster is one of those books that get right under your skin. The Characters are unforgetable. The chemistry between Abby and Travis is what makes this story so awesome. It's so intense and at times dark that just makes it so refreshing compared to a lot of relationships in book these days. And on a personal level I could really connect with these characters because at times during this book I felt like I was reliving a past relationship that was also very intense like Abby and Travis's relationship.

Now I have read a few reviews that talk about the "abuse" in this book. I want to know what book these people were reading?? Seriously? Travis is an intense person and has a lot of issue yes but abusive? God no! To me Travis comes across as this tough guy to everyone but with Abby there is a really soft and sweet side to him that makes me melt. Abby I adore. She is a strong character and isn't afraid to put Travis in his place. The two of them together is explosive and thrilling. They are a "Beautiful Disaster"

I am not going to get into the plot because there is no way I can do that without spoilers. All I will say is that the story is exciting and crazy. Takes you on so many emotional rollcoaster's it makes your head spin.

Jamie McGuire I want to marry your mind!! Her writing is completely flawless. She keeps you guessing as to what will happen next and how the story will end. Which was pretty awesome.

If you are looking for something that will keep you up until the wee hours of the morning then please give this ago. You will not be disappointed!! Beautiful Disaster is also a perfect example on what a crossover novel from YA to Adult should be like.

Ok, I'll start with the criticisms and get them over with - they didn't matter much in the end anyway. There were some areas where the writing was quite dodgy. I realize this isn't completely the authors fault - that stuff should get ironed out in the editing process (but it never ever does for some reason). It put me off in places.

That being said, I was addicted to the book. I read it within a day, in two sittings broken up only by sleep and revision. I find with a lot of romance books that I've guessed the ending by the end of the first few pages, because many of them follow cliches to the letter. This was a little different though - I spent the whole time wandering what was going to happen next. I was a little bit disappointed at the ending for this reason - I thought that part was unnecessary. It felt a bit token, since it didn't really add anything to the story. I also find it a bit patronising, since it basically suggests that a perfect end to a romance is - well I won't put a spoiler in, but you can probably guess what I was about to write. Other than that though, I really enjoyed it. The book probably doesn't deserve a full 4 stars - it's just a good romance - but it's made me happy and provided a nice break from philosophy revision, so I'm feeling generous.

Loved the book, the way it was written could use some fixing, time jumps sometimes got a bit confusing etc.
