I felt this book was a bit rushed and like it left some stuff out.

Really enjoyed the first book in this series, but Book 2 wasn’t as good.

It seemed to be pretty much more of the same. Don’t know if I will continue with this series

Ah, I read this sooo long ago. I don't remember a lot about it. But I remember Ben being a dip wad and I liked him sometimes and other times I really didn't. Adam was OK. It was another one that kept me guessing till the end

Pasted from an angry Facebook comment that I posted:

She put a nice twist in there with the Ben/Adam thing, I must say. Though I kind of suspected something along those lines.

Other than that I have to rely on the suspense to keep going because the dialogue is SO BAD I WANT TO DIE. Kimmie and Wes get more insufferable every page, as does Ben and Adam and her mom (Strike while the iron is hot) and dad and Alexia's diary entries, as well as her teachers and Spencer. I think that covers everyone. Oh, Kimmie's family including her little brother Nate. And Debbie Marcus. And everyone at Camelia's school. AND CAMELIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my freaking god someone shut that girl up. Give her a muzzle, give her back to Matt, DO SOMETHING. She's such a stupid whiner (Adam is sooo nice but Ben makes me swoon like on the cover of romance novels) and constantly putting her life in danger I don't even care anymore when she sneaks out in the middle of the night to meet her little vampire-inspired boycrush. And if I were her, my friends would be pretty freaking sick of all my drama, but it seems as though her, Kimmie, and Wes talk about pretty much nothing else!

That was when I had about twenty pages to go. It didn't really get any better from there. The book had a climax of about 2 pages and then it was done. Whoop de doo. Unfortunately I want to hear about Camelia's extremely unlucky life so I probably will end up reading the third one...the only thing this author is really good at is getting you addicted to the story. Freaking...

I'm glad I gave Deadly Little Lies a spin despite being disappointed with Deadly Little Secrets (the first book in the series) because DLL is a really, really good book. Where other LFS books fail to fully catch fire for me, this one does and then some.

Camelia isn't doing so well since Matt kidnapped her in the previous book and I like that she isn't expected to have fully recovered simply because that book is over. The after-effects linger so that when Camelia starts to sculpt things that have some sort of importance on the future (a key for the afternoon when she's left her keys at home, for one) she wonders if maybe she's losing her mind. Quite a few of her sculptures can be explained away by her subconscious taking the wheel while she zones out, leaving you to wonder if maybe that is what's happening. Is she really psychic or is it all just a fluke?

Then there's the little matter of the stalking which begins anew, albeit differently than before. Is it just a prank to coincide with Ben's return to school or is someone actually after Camelia again?

Most interesting to me are the peeks back in time at Camelia's aunt and the realizaton that Camelia's powers weren't somehow transferred from Ben, but inherited from her mother's side of the family.

Bonus points given for Camelia trying not to let her own drama overshadow her friends' and continuing to try and be a better friend to them than she was before.

Also, massive bonus points given for Adam and I hope he makes a return visit in the series because, honestly? I like him better than I like Ben.

Ahhh this books are so fun! I like the characters a lot! I like the light and fluffiness of them. I think it's a little weird they both magically have the same rare ability but I like the possibilities the author left for the next book. I'm a little confused by the whole Adam thing but I think I got it. Overall light fun series. I enjoy it as much as her other one for sure if not more. Can't wait to see what the next one is about!

I think this series is just getting more and more interesting. I love the characters, their development is great. Even though this is just the second book, it is going to start the series on a whole new path I think. Ben is back, Camelia is beginning to develop her own powers, and there is something sinister going on. All of this happens with the insert of journal entries and new characters.

When I started the book, I did have some reservations though-I thought it was gonna be a repeat of book one...yeah, I was wrong, in a BIG way! Can't wait for the third!

Holy shit. The plot twists (emphasis on s) were so FUCKING unexpected, but made so much in the end. I never once thought the ending would turn out the way it did.
