This collection of short stories is a must read. I fell in love with it upon reading the first story. The language can be a little complex but beautiful. I do admit I had to reread some of the stories for a better understanding of them, but I did so with pleasure as none of them were dull. I liked to read one short story per day. It was a fun break from loads of schoolwork I had to complete at the time. Strongly reccomend.

Some lovely stories mixed into some other more average ones.

Some that would, as the author himself notes, have been done better by James.

One where he wanders around a city particularly good.

The writing style just wasn't my cup of tea at all.

Ho sbagliato nel leggere questo libro. L'ho divorato.
