This is a short book on Covid-19, written somewhere in the middle of 2021. I read it recently while recovering from the coronavirus.

The basic things to know:
• eat good fats
• take a protein rich diet
• avoid carbs & sugar
• have an anti-inflammatory diet
• sleep well - insomnia is very common post-covid
• take supplements
• physical activity - start with breathing exercises or small walks

This book just tells about the basics of what needs to be done. It gets wrong the idea that a person cannot get infected twice. If you have lingering symptoms after testing negative, please take the advice of a certified physician. And don't take the omicron variant lightly, nobody knows what the long-term effects of this virus will be.

We all know how life-threatening this covid 19 virus is, and with all this fake news emerging from an irrelevant source such as Whatsapp, Facebook, and Twitter it's hard to keep up with what's true and what is not, But this book right here serves as a guide to the people who are dealing with this fateful disease. This book not only talks about doctor vee's 6 point plan that is Diet, Gut Health, Sleep. Exercise, Stress Management, and enhanced healing with supplements in detail but also how to prep our body for the vaccine, which is the need of the hour.
this book not only talks about people dealing with covid but what are all the necessary steps, vitamins, and supplements one should take post covid, Focusing and balancing our diet with a good amount of protein and healthy fats can help the body fight corona. This book has a diet chart for nonvegetarians and vegetarians, what all vitamins one should take and what all we can eat during this time.

According to Dr. Vee Taking up vaccines doesn't mean we should stop taking precautions and be careless, yes vaccines will help our immune system to fight off covid but it does not give us an excuse to be careless. this book also talks about the steps one should follow before taking up the vaccine.

My take on this book is, this book is the need of the hour! We have to be careful, do not believe in fake forwarded news, lately, within 1 year of covid, we all have heard so much fake news that it's hard to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. we cannot call our doctors every hour asking their opinions on every small thing, in that case, this book comes in handy.

There are many forwarded messages on your social media telling - rather preaching the do's and don'ts. Wandering what to believe and what not to believe - ehat to follow or not follow? Well, to end all your dilemmas and ease all confusions read this book. Dr Vishakha Shivdasni gives all the necessary details one needs to stay healthy before and after Covid.

In the first part of the book, the author explains about inflammation and gives Doctor Vee's 6-Point Plan, which consists :

>> Diet
>> Gut Health
>> Sleep
>> Exercise
>> Stress Management
>> Enhanced Healing with Supplements

She has explained each point in details mentioning the dos and the don'ts.

Moving on, Dr.Shivdasani recommends various ways to deal with post-Covid symptoms.

In the last part of this short yet important book, the doctor has also given all the essential steps one should follow to prepare one's body before vaccination. She also warns that even after post-vaccination one must not stop being careful.


I think this is a very useful booka and one must keep it handy because one never knows. Doctor Vee has beautifully explained every point and in written in layman terms so that everyone with basic knowledge of English can understand and follow this book.

A must have and a must read!!
