I knew after reading the blurb that Vow of Hell would be a book I loved!

Vow of Hell is an age-gap, enemies to lovers, arranged marriage romance. Enemies to lovers and arranged marriage are two of my favorite tropes and Clara Elroy has executed both of them so well in this book!

The two main characters are Saint and Ariadne. Saint is an ex-NFL player. He is rich, broody, arrogant, sexy, and he knows it. Ariadne is a fashion expert. She is intelligent, beautiful, career driven, but has her own insecurities.

I loved the way the story was written. The slow burn and the way their relationship developed. An arranged marriage grew into so much more. The character development in this book was fabulous and their chemistry was off the charts; these two fit together so well.

Clara Elroy’s writing is sheer perfection. Her words flowed so smoothly and the writing was captivating. I was hooked from the first page and I can’t wait to see what she writes next.

Vow of Hell is the first book that I've read by Clara Elroy and it was way enjoyable than I have expected. Just by reading the blurb, I can already tell that this book is going to serve. N you know what? They did. The entire storyline was pretty engaging that I was able to finish everything within one day.

Talking about the characters, I actually liked the dynamic between Saint and Aria. Ngl, the push and pull was kinda annoying, but I couldn't help but enjoy it? Lol. Just by reading their scenes, we can truly feel the tension and the chemistry that these two have.

Overall, it was a great read for me and I think Clara did a good job in delivering the story of Saint and Aria. The entire story was well developed and greatly written. Highly recommend for everyone to give this book a chance.

I would recommend this book!! It’s rlly sweet book where the age gap isn’t cringy and gross. Saint is an amazing Mc and I love how their both intelligent hardworking and smart. No one is an idiot and just being trust fund babies. Decently like the third book better but this was also a really good book with a sweet ending

This was a reread and I thought I liked this book when I first read it but god I fucking hated it as a reread lmao. First I couldn’t get over the age difference and the height difference. Saint is supposed to be 6’5 and during the wedding he literally says Aria’s heels bring her up to his forearm??? What is she fucking 3 feet tall? Not to mention the 21 year old with a 30 year old. It’s weird creepy and bordering pedophilic and the obsession with Aria being tiny doesn’t help the optics at all. Second, the one black person in the entire book has an Afro and allegedly is bitchy and a “pick me” I’m gonna need you to be soooo for real. Now on to Aria, she is fucking unbearable, this girl goes from acting like a smart business woman to an idiotic twinkly eyed 20 year old. Her characterization is inconsistent, and with her street smarts, or lack thereof, there’s no way she would be successful in starting her own business. I truly lost it when Leo asked Saint what it’s like to sleep with someone smarter than him because BITCH WHERE??? And then even after she almost gets Eliana and herself shot she says she thinks she handled herself well?? Girl I cannot, and yeah I get the no victim blaming but I cannot standddd playing extra victim card when you could’ve asked for help I have zero empathy girlie when you know your husband is an asshole and would’ve done anything to help you, like there was zero reason to not tell him other than just to increase stupid tension in the book and it felt wholly unnecessary. On to Saint, this man literally has no character growth throughout the entire book, there’s so much miscommunication and lack of communication all together like girl I’m TIRED why are there five different plot lines happening in this book? All in all this couple had nothing in common other than sexual deviancy, hated this book on a reread but maybe it’s cause I’ve really delved into the world of romance novels now. First time I read this book I think I finished it in a day but second time around it took me several days cause good lord it was a hard read.
2.0 for effort I guess.

I tried to read this book, but it was…not my thing, but not because of the tropes in it. First, it seemed kind of odd to start the book off with the MC’s fiancé having sex with another girl in a bar bathroom, but I was willing to give this book a chance. However, it wasn’t worth it, in my opinion.

For the most part, this book kinda reads like a fanfic, there's rival fashion companies, where of course they're extremely rich. She's a family disappointment, and a bastard (like her parents weren't married when she was conceived), he was some hotshot and isn't anymore, and his dad hates him. Even the names of the companies seem fanfic-y. The names of the companies being Fleur and Falco.

I went into this book knowing that it was an age gap, arranged marriage, which usually aren’t my preferred tropes in a book, but I was willing to read it. I feel that, even though I was only 10% of the way through it before I quit, it probably wasn’t going to work. Both the tropes and the romance between the two MCs.

DNF at 10%, 1/5 stars.

Not the best, but not the worst either.

A good addition to the series. What bugged me was how many people who had been introduced in the last book didn't get resolution in this one either.
