Phew, what a story. A lot happened in this book. First, I am so so happy that healing Dimitri worked. Second, I'm so sad by the way he's acting. Although I can sort of sympathize with his actions, they make me sad. I think part of it has to do with the author knowing that so many people are reading this to find out if they'll end up together. So she has to keep that hanging in the air to keep those people interested.

Anyways, I'm not sure what's going to happen with Adrian and Dimitri. Rose got pretty serious with Adrian in this one, but she doesn't have the passion for him that she does for Dimitri. I think Dimitri will come around to her, if for nothing else than to save her from being executed.

I'm surprised at where this book ended up. It was kind of a strange turn of events. But I hear the next one is the last book about Rose so I look forward to a resolve.

I don't think she'll be executed of course, but I do wonder how her romantic life will proceed. I sort of think that Ambrose murdered the queen for some reason. But then, that wouldn't explain why it looks like someone is framing her. Of course, it could be Victor, that's always a possibility. I'm sure it'll be someone I don't pinpoint though because it always is. :)

Anyways, I look forward to the next book and I just can't wait to find out what happens.

P.S. I also have a theory. Could be wrong, but I kind of think that when Avery (in the last book I believe) was in Rose's head and she saw Dimitri and she was in an apartment and he said that her love saved him from being a Strigoi. Well, even though she thinks that was an illusion, I sort of think that that was her actual future. I think that Avery was giving her a glimpse of her future (perhaps without even knowing it). Just a theory, but that's what I think.

Whouw I'm just omg!
This book was so good especially the ending! I meant the whole book I was really positive about Dimitri actually coming back to "life" but I thought it would happen in the sixth book. Also after books 1,2,3 I would've never thought that I would actually find interest in those books but Rose Has become one of my favourite characters and she's especially one if the veery few fav female character I have! Mostly young adult heroines just annoy the hell out of me but Rose? I just want to be her best friend. The bad thing is I ship Adrian and Rose sooo much it just hurts me but Rose doesn't even seem to have any real feelings toward him. All in all I really liked this part, it was full of action, unpredictable and shady! That are features I like in books!

Ok now it definitely wasn’t a bad book but you best believe it made me contemplate murder. Specifically lissa and Dimitri. Like what the flying fuck was that bro?

Like “lissa saved me. I’m so thankful for her.” And like the hope and happiness when he saw Lissa but then the fuckwit cunt like dipped when rose came in? Like wtf. I was yelling and screaming when he was treating rose like shit. Then… yep there’s more.

“Love fades. Mine has.” WTF THE FUCK DUDE. WHAT THE FUCK! And now she’s being charged for the queens murder like girl cannot catch a break.

I'm starting to get annoyed with Dimitri. Dead people should stay dead! Rose is playing with Adrian's feelings, every time Belakov ignores her she goes back to Adrian. Meanwhile Adrian is always there by her side. He deserves better.
I really hate the politics in this world, if I were a guardian and had to protect those royals I'd expect them to help as well, especially if the guardian's numbers were low. But instead of learning to fight and protect themselves they make 16 year olds with almost no training fight for them. They (the royals) deserve to die. Tatiana (I think that's how it's spelled??) is confusing me.. is she with or against Rose? Also if she's with Rose why does she have to behave so awfully to her?? Just to show guardians their place? I am absolutely furious with this injustice!

God damn, what is happening to this book series.

SpoilerI have this tic that happens in a LOT of YA books, or naturally when someone tries to stay away from guy 1 but ends up stringing guy 2 along. Then when guy 1 returns, guy 2 is rejected. When guy 1 does not want girl, girl cozies up to guy 2. All the while, guy 2 knows what's going on, is upset, but takes what he can get.

Case point: that's exactly what happened in this book.

I really think the book series could have worked if while Dimitri was gone, she didn't date Adrian. I say it because I think that this ruined her 'strong' character. She's the same Rose but with this added obsession over Dimitri it's really turned me off her.

I've hit the end, let us hope the last book isn't as painful as the last two.
