Excellent primer for anyone new to Intuitive Eating and the many damaging effects of dieting and diet culture.

Outlines 10 principles that focus on a healthy relationship with food, nutrition and movement.

I appreciate that the authors acknowledge early on that eating intuitively is a privilege.

Also love that they use terms like "self-imposed famine" and "short-term starvation" as that's how I like to describe dieting/ restricting too.

"The problem isn't your body, it's our fatphobic culture, which is everywhere, including healthcare, schools, places of worship, media, social media, grocery stores, the beauty industry, the fitness industry, family, and friends."
