I will not rate this yet as I don’t want to give anything away, but damn Kennedy can write her ass off like no romance author I’ve ever come across. And I love that she does EXTENSIVE research about whatever topic she writes about in her books.

My goodness! Kennedy Ryan put me through the wringer with this gripping, heart-pounding conclusion to the epic All the King’s Men duet. Twisty, suspenseful and emotional, I freakin’ devoured every single word of The Rebel King.

Lennix and Maxim’s journey is one that will stay with me for a long long time. I didn’t think I could love this couple any more than I already did. Yet, their bond, their strength, and their devotion to one another is proof otherwise. Individually, the dedication to their causes and their drive is aspiring. However, the passionate powerhouse of them together …*standing ovation*... it’s perfection. I cannot get enough of these two. I almost hate to leave them. I can only pray we get some more in the future.

In addition to these amazing characters, Kennedy Ryan does an incredible job of blending the beautiful love story with social issues and politics. She does it with heart and well researched information. I absolutely looove a story that educates. I learned so much about a heritage and certain issues that I didn’t know too much about.

With its outstanding writing and intense, meant to be romance, All the King’s Men’s duet is not one you want to skip on. Definitely top reads of 2019.

The Rebel King is the conclusion to the All the King's Men duet by the talented Kennedy Ryan. The Kingmaker was fantastic and I've been waiting to see what was going to happen to Lennix and Maxim. I was not disappointed! The suspense, pain, love, lust, struggle, and heartbreak just about killed me. I was sucked in from the very first word and couldn't read fast enough. I needed to know what was going to happen next. It was like gasping for air. My heart almost couldn't take it! Maxim will do everything for his Nix. She's is soul mate. He doesn't always handle things the right way, but the need to protect her is the strongest thing he's ever felt. He would fight any man for her. He would die for her. Lennix is independent. She doesn't like being told what to do and where to go. But being with Maxim brings changes she's not sure she's ready for. She didn't work this hard to just give up her dreams. They have an uphill battle and sometimes can't see the end of the road, but they want to travel it together. Is their love strong enough for everything that will be thrown at them? Can they learn to compromise for love? This story. My heart! I had to stop reading at one point because I couldn’t see through my tears. Kennedy's books always squeeze my heart, but this was something special. Her writing just keeps getting better and better. She's in a league all her own.

Wow.
This book has ripped my heart out and put it back in.
Wow Kennedy Ryan has blown me away, her writing has just evolved into the crafter of masterpieces.

This is a continuation of The King Maker and draws out a beautiful conclusion to the duet. I went through so many emotions reading this but it all goes to show the writing chops Kennedy Ryan has.

I will have a more in depth review/response on The Lit Buzz LBTv stay tuned filming it this weekend!

I'm glad I waited to read the series until I had both books, the ending of the first one was too much of a cliffhanger for me to wait!
I loved the external drama and them staying true to who they are throughout the series, blazing the path that works for them.
SpoilerI'm pissed that Nix took the Cade name when they got married, after everything that company represents for her

I loved the relationship between Nix and Maxim but I was really frustrated by the politics and probably won't reread this series.
