Perfect in all ways. Amelia delivers again.

This is the story and the ending everyone wanted. Amelia is amazing story teller and the monster series is one I will always recommend. While the entire Fae Chronicles are spectacular, Amelia delivers with giving you the deeper story you wanted for the characters you grew attached to.

A very hard read

From book 1 this was a hard read. Very monotonous and redundant. There was lots of contradiction in the writing almost like the author was a stranger to her own characters and ideas. I pushed myself to read it though, and unfortunately it never improved and if anything got worse and worse with each book. Characters were written into the story then forgotten, concepts were introduced and then completely disregarded. The idea of the story was strong, and with a good editor this could have been a great series, but here we are.

After finding out what Lucien was, I still maintain that this information would have made the story more interesting if we knew what he was from the beginning. When it was revealed 99% of the way through the final book, it was kinda just like, “oh…that makes sense, but like, why was it such a secret.”

When I picked up this series on an audible sale, I didn’t realize it wasn’t a standalone. While I could pick up enough in previous books to keep up with who is who, this was the first time I felt lost and struggled with piecing together what happened in the other series. While it wasn’t critical to know, it was annoying.

Finally, I kind of laughed when I read the reviews that this was just smut. But I listened to this on my hour commute, and I had a day and a half where I was in the same extended sex scenes

After allllll this time. We know what Lucian is. Finally. Just a nice tidy book that wraps up those itching questions. Love Lena and Lucian but gimme more Spyder and more Zahruk prontooooooo. Hell, give me a Ben and Makenna book of them effin shit up in their teens… Amelia, if you write it… I will buy it.

This whole book up until the end made me mad. I mean WTF, when did Lena turn into a bitch? She's supposed to be this bad ass, and she just took what Lucian gave her.

Amelia is the epitome of trust the process. And she really did it this book. I was increasingly disappointed until I knew. When you know you know.

So I will say hold on tight and buckle your seat belts because you are in for a wild finale. Amelia just put the cherry on the ice cream with this one and this was one of the best HEA I have read to date.

Also, you don't find out what Lucian is until around 98% if that's what you're here for. So hold on tight. It's worth it.

This is the last book in the Monster series and we finally get to find out what Lucian is. I liked the last 25% of this book more than the first 75%. I felt like there was just too much talk and not enough action in the first parts of the book. A lot of questions were answered. The ending was soo very satisfiying!

This book was a terrible end to a great series that was my favourite in the Fae Chronicles world, all of the resolution could have been a few extra chapters at the end of book 3

Literally the first 75% of this book was just smut for smut sake, which if that is what you're looking for then fine but this series was more urban fantasy plot with smut up until this point

Hopefully the Legacy of the Nine Realms series doesn't have the same fate as this series and the last 2 Fae Chronicles books

Lucian and Lena are deff my favorite couple in the Fae universe. So much crazy happens in this book. Alot of wtf moments and heartstrings pulled.

Spoilers

I totally was hoping that spider, Lucian and Lena became a permanent thing. I'm sad he got his memories pulled from that night.

Zaruhk (sp) I'm deff curious how his role is going to play out now that he's an unseelie prince on top of being the Horde king.

Harbinger/Benjamin...I get the name but it just doesn't fit for me. He was better as Harbinger

The final conclusion to Lena and Lucien's story.

The book starts off with Lena and Lucien still searching for Mckenna (Kendra's daughter) and Lucifer's whereabouts. Lena finds out that she had accidentally mated Spyder through her bond with Lucien. She finally decides to try to release the spell that was done through blood magic to save her life in book 2. Meanwhile Lucien is determined to murder Lucifer and anyone who stands in his way of Lena's happiness.

This book has a lot of graphic sexual content, so if that isn't for you.
The last few chapters where Lena is kidnapped is my favorite part of this book.

I love the series. Would have loved more layers to the story plotline.
