At first, I love it. I love how Emory and Will just hate each other but because of love. They love so hard they hate each other. I love that. I love BlackChurch and the boys are interesting. Other than the spice and the flashbacks, which are amazing btw, the spice is spicy and will is one little good boy (no, they do not say that but will is a sub, its obvious).

HOWEVER, I do not like those books or I won't recommend those books who took the entire 70% telling a story but that is not relevant to the ending. I know the flashbacks actually do make sense to the ending. But the time they are in Blackchurch, it's just some bonding session between everyone and at the end, it was nothing. I don't get it and it was such a read, it was long and I think author can shorten it?

Why still a 3 even tho it's "bad"? Because the story is actually good, but it's just too long. There are so many unanswered questions. Who is Taylor, why they are there? What happened to the girl in the Cove, with the pink tutu? Why when in Will's POV, he acts like he didn't know what's going on, like it's too obvious and stop pretending you are there bc ur bad, it's ur own POV and just be honest to yourself. And also why Will just feed to his temper and won't talk things out with Emory all these times? Since he's such a great planner and got this long game going on?

Anyways, I enjoyed pretty much the ending. Even though the train orgy was unnecessary, idk what it supposed to mean? Alex and Emory are actually friends? Emory is bi? or that's just how people say "sorry" in Thunder Bay?

I got confused at the end with the whole thing going on. Everyone was there and I was so confused but luckily I pushed through. I love the epilogue tho, get to see everyone's life and family. Still team Damon till this day. However, that epilogue was so weird with the people and the girl.

Anyways, not the last book of the series. But it's the closing that's great. I'm happy everyone has someone and their little family. Wish they just stop it there and be a normal family. Stop with the devil's night and all the cringe creepy shit. Stop howling, yall are not 16 anymore. Yall are like what 30?

Thanks, Damon for stopping making babies

This is book 4 in the 'Devil's Night' series and by far my favourite. It follows Will and Emory's relationship and concludes the series, with tying up all loose ends. This book starts with a bang and the first chapter dives you right into the story, no waiting, not warm up.

Will and Emory's relationship:
We know little about their relationship prior to this book. Emory has been mentioned in previous book to have a connection to Will, how she broke his heart and she is the 'nerdy', quiet, shy librarian girl in highshool and her description provided in book 3. Will has been obsessed with Emily since high school and she always rejected him. Once she finally gave in, he fucked up and then he went to prison for it. She was abused by her brother, Marvin, who was a cop and also the reason Will went to jail (Will beat Marvin almost to death). This books gives off 'right person wrong time' vibes. They miss each other by an inch and get separated for years. Nine years later they reunite at Blackchurch and Emory helped him love himself again and finally break down all his walls.
Godzilla foreplay talk was unexpected, but made sense; the fact that Will took note Emory liked that movie even in house school and surprised her with a stuffed Godzilla in her locker attaching a invitation to the senior lock-in.

Will is an absolute SIMP and I am here for it.

The train scene

This is the second novella of the 'Devil's Night' series and the book that concludes the series. It is a wholesome insight into 10 year in the future since 'Nightfall', watching all the couples spend time with each other and their kids during Fire Night (aka winter solstice). It would not be a 'Devil's Night' book if not for some kidnap, suspense, secrets, twists and turns.

It consists of four chapter, one for each of the horsemen.
- Chapter 1 -> Kai More. His wife is bonding with his family and his wife is the only one that has impressed his dad with her fighting skill, making him stop first for the first time.
- Chapter 2-> Damon Torrance. He finally realises he wants a mother figure in his life and accepts Christiane and they bond.
- Chapter 3-> Will Grayson, of course the kidnap starts at his chapter, HAHA, to noone's surprise.
- Chapter 4 -> Michael Crist. We love a MMC who prioritize his wife over his kids ... I said what i said, do not come for me.
