I loved this book! I absolutely loved reading about Amanda and Mick. This was a quick read, it took me less than four hours to read this one and I inhaled it. These two were the perfect example of people who loved each other from afar, and they were really two peas in a pod. This book absolutely gave me happy vibes and it was the PERFECT summer read! Bravo!!!

What a delightfully decadent treat! This book has solidly entrenched Melissa Foster as one of my all time favorite authors. It was such a delight to read and I took an instant liking to Amanda, who is sweet and funny, as she follows a handbook she purchased in the hopes that she will gain some seduction tips. As far as I'm concerned, she could have authored her own handbook! I absolutely loved reading about Mick and Amanda. Their chemistry was explosive. My only problem now is finding the patience to wait for the rest of the books in this series to be released. Can't wait!

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour, from the PR Agency in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to Lisa for letting me take part in this tour. I've previously read most of Melissa's books including her Wild Boys (After Dark) series which this series is linked to.

We have previously met one of the Bad brothers, Dylan,  in Logan's book. This book follows his older brother Mick. Mick became the head of the family after his father left. He kept the family together, he made sure his brothers were ok when all he wanted to do was fall apart. Mick vowed to never be like his father. He vowed not to have a relationship or a family because he doesn't want to let them down like his father did. Mick however did not bargain on falling in love with Amanda.

Sweet Amanda is Mick's paralegal. she's been in love with him for 3 years but knows that there is no way she can have him. Sick of dating boring safe ment Amanda decides it's time to turn naughty. She's done her research and prepared her body from head to toe. What Amanda isn't prepared for is that the mystery man she tries to seduce is none other than her out of bounds boss, Mick.

Mick offers Amanda one weekend of naughtiness. One weekend of everything he knows he can't have and then they return to their lives.

I spent half my time while reading this book wanting to scream at these two. They were perfect for each other if only they gave it a chance. I really enjoyed reading their story and seeing Mick open up to Amanda.

I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the Bad boy's stories.

Every time I finish a Melissa Foster book, I am always anxious for the next. She is a fantastic writer, and I just love her stories! But I honestly couldn't wait to get my hands on the Bad Boys After Dark books after finishing her Wild Boys After Dark series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but these books are all connected to her Love in Bloom series in case you want to read them all. I highly recommend anything by Melissa Foster but you do not need to read them in order to understand anything here, though for full enjoyment it is great to read them all in order to see how everyone is connected.

Amanda Jenner is tired of attracting boring guys and is ready to take control of her dating life. Mick Bad doesn't mix business with pleasure and refuses to do relationships of any type. So when both of them decide to go to a masquerade bar crawl thinking it is the perfect place to fulfill their needs, they both think that they found exactly what they are looking for until they realize who they just made out with. But Mick is Amanda's boss and now that the line has been crossed, both Mick and Amanda find themselves wanting more. Mick offers to give Amanda lessons in seduction, but neither of them are prepared for where the lessons lead them.

I really love Melissa's characters as they are all different and unique, and Amanda and Mick were no different. Amanda was so endearing and I instantly liked her. Seeing her try to be sexy and being a bit awkward about it was cute, and I loved that Mick actually preferred the real her. She had a great personality, and I thought that she was great for Mick. Mick was also easy to like, and was super sexy. He was all alpha, but not in an over the top or jerk kind of way. I thought that he was just as great for Amanda as she was for him. You could tell just how much he had wanted her, but that he had stayed away because of his parents relationship and all he had been through. These two had so much chemistry though that you could tell that it was bound to explode between them at some point and after that there was no going back. I couldn't get enough of them and this one was really hot!

Overall, another great book from Melissa Foster! I love how these books are sexier than her standard contemporary reads, but yet the stories are every bit as good. Melissa Foster knows how to write a well balanced story like no one else, and I would buy anything that had her name on it. She has never let me down yet, and after reading Mick's book I can't wait to get the rest of the Bad Boys series. If you love her contemporary stories but also love your books a bit on the naughtier side, you need to be reading her Wild Boys and Bad Boys books!

LOVED this book!! As much as Mick and Amanda tried to keep their feelings separate from their weekend experience, they just couldn't. I think I smiled through the entire book.

Mick was sweet and gentle while being strong and alpha. Amanda was a little naive and vulnerable while being strong and intelligent. The sex was steamy, passionate, intense.

I enjoy reading about strong, intelligent women and men who appreciate those traits in the woman they love. This was a very enjoyable read, and once again, I found myself losing a few hours of sleep to finish it.

Can't wait for the next Bad Boys book.

Bad Boys After Dark: Mick was a steamy read that hooks you in from the first sentence and keeps you in its grips until the very end. Amanda was a complex woman that I could easily identify with. Her insecurities mirrored my own and I feel that many women can identify with her. Mick was a sexy guy who lived up to his last name, but his desire and the way he cared for Amanda was present throughout the entire story. I found myself falling in love with Mick and I wished that he was real. Both characters were far from perfect, but that made them even more captivating. Melissa Foster wrote a fantastic book and I highly recommend it. This book gets a 5 star rating and I will definitely be reading this series as soon as the rest of the books come out.

If you enjoyed any or all the author's Wild Boys Series; Logan, Heath, Jackson & Cooper, you'll love this Bad Boy: Mick.

Entertainment attorney Mick Bad doesn't do relationships. A masquerade bar crawl is a perfect way to find his latest hook-up, only the evening acts as a catalyst for an unexpected life changing direction with a woman he's secretly lusted after for three years.

Paralegal Amanda Jenner's exhausted from attracting the wrong men...dull, not only in personality but in bed too! After doing research on how to find her inner sexy and seduce a man, she decides a masquerade bar crawl is a perfect way to try out and hone her new found skills. She targets a drop dead gorgeous male, only the outcome of their meeting has far-reaching consequences she never dreamed possible.

Mick is 100% alpha. He oozes charm and is a very smooth communicator. He's confident, but not arrogant so he's the perfect guy for Amanda to practice on. Mick's attention to detail and observation skills are second to none, despite Amanda's bravado, he sees she's naive, shy and inexperienced, so exudes patience and kindness to build the trust between himself and this woman he's wanted for so long. The result? Amanda's newfound confidence creates boldness as she turns the tables and becomes the temptress making Mick realise that there isn't any valid reason for them not to be together.

The timeline for the novel is very short yet Amanda and Mick's relationship is palpable. After working closely together for three years, they are as close as two people can be without sexual closeness. Once that last essential link's made, there's no doubting that they are meant to be together.

Ms. Foster's storytelling, as I've come to expect is first class, with multifaceted protagonists and secondary characters that make you want to read about them too...hello Dylan! If you like your romance novels served hot and extra spicy, you'll love this new series.

Looking for a little spice in her life, safe Amanda plans to practice the art of seduction at a bar crawl during masquerade night. Practicing the skills that she learned from book, she lands her target. This man is delicious and knows what he’s doing and she feels like the goddess that wants to be.

Mick, who is not the relationship kind, is fascinated with this innocently hot temptress that is eyeing him at the bar crawl and he must have her. It’s not until he discovers that it’s his paralegal
Amanda, that he is conflicted. Asking to meet the masked beauty another day, their adventure begins.

Amanda and Mick indulge themselves in a forbidden weekend, which is to be forgotten when they both go into work on Monday, terms of their weekend continue to change throughout the weekend. Amanda learns to better the art of seduction, while Mick learns more about this goddess and himself.

There’s something about forbidden fruit, that makes it that much more tempting and sweeter to indulge in. The ending chapters of this story was definitely unexpected for me and I had tears. A great start to the Bad Boys series.

I quite enjoyed the first book in the Bad Boys After Dark series.

The book starts strong with Amanda taking things into her own hands and going on the prowl..

Office romance, no strings lessons in sex and seduction are well known tropes int he romance genre.

Melissa Foster Still managed to make it enjoyable, fun and sexy.

I liked stories that feature strong women who know their minds and go after what they want.

Amanda took a chance and it payed off big time!!

The interactions between Amanda and Mick where sexy but also sweet and allowed them to build a foundation for a true relationship.

Mick might seem like the rich man who has it all, but he needed Amanda and the passion she brought into his life, the desire to want more and be more than just another one night stand.

Narrator Paul Woodson was a pleasant surprise.

Not all male narrator know how to narrate a female character in a believable and enjoyable way. Nut Paul Woodson managed that.

His narration of Amanda was pleasing and not jarring. And as a result, the sexy parts were a delight to listen to!

Bad Boys After Dark is a sexier tale than previous books written by Melissa Foster. but it has depth and a perfect HEA.
