Spoiler
The whole bit when Nehemia was murdered and then the betrayal from Chaol... I won't like, Celaena annoyed the fuck out of me. Now, word on the street is that AB goes into detail about C's past and gives more understanding to her actions with Chaol, but lord. She wouldn't even give the dude a second to speak. I know things work out between them (mostly) later on, and Celaena is able to get to a better place mentally, but in the moment, I was like, "Girl. Take a breath." And it's funny, because she then starts the "lies by omission" thing with Dorian to "protect him" and while YES, Chaol should have told her....She should also have told Dorian. These morally grey idiots. But I also acknowledge that C is 18 and has experienced more horrific trauma than most would in several lifetimes, so. She mostly redeemed herself by the end for me.Needless to say, I'm following the recommendations of many and am reading Assassin's Blade next.
