This was an audible book. The author also narrated it. His thick northeast accent made for an entertaining listen, but it also reminded me of a slicked back guy pushing pink sheet stocks to senior citizens. His thoughts seemed mostly a rehash of ideas I have seen elsewhere. One major place being Getting to Yes and Getting Past No.

Very good practical advice, presented with humour. It seems to me that it charts a middle course between Trump-style bullying and unpractical feel-good win-win dogmatism.
Personally, I learned a lot from this book. and applied the lessons in practical situations. The most important one is: What is the 2-letter word most useful to negotiators? It's "IF". I think that this is the single most useful thing to know about the subject and I learnt if from this book.

Solid book. Though it is a how too, it's told in short stories that can be very captivating

Falls in the category of books I wish I'd come across when I was much younger. Also falls in the category of being dated, but the general concepts are still on point and Cohen has a sense of humor (though it's the humor of another time).

A useful book in its general architecture beset by anecdotes which drag it down with racism, sexism, and arrogance. Great book for whom a lean summary would be more useful than the actual thing.

It was a 3.5 read for me. The book provided very practical and easy to understand examples as well as ways to deal with conflict in our everyday life. However, some parts were outdated and i did get lost a couple of times while reading.

Not nearly as useful as I expected. Just talking about negotiations in general, really, rather than specifics that could be more useful. Entertaining, though!
