April finally got her well deserved HEA!!!! These Sawyer sisters are all amazing in their own way. April was finding her inner peace with something from her past when Tyler, a friend that has to do with the situation from her past that she’s trying to be at peace with, returns almost after 18 years. He was a big time MLB player that recently retired. Before he made it in the big leagues he and April were very good friends that led to something one night. Now in the present they are trying to see where things can go. But first Tyler is battling lots of demons due to the way his baseball career ended. He was also so adamant about certain things in which April was against. She was there for him but at times he was in his head so much that he almost lost the best thing that has ever happened to him which is April. When he finally saw what was in front of him he decided to help April with her inner peace of their past situation. He was extremely supportive and I must say when that happened I cried because I wanted everything to go smoothly for them. I loved how everything came together and I loved their epilogue. This family is the best.

It was monotonous.   That's sums up the over all feeling I was experiencing while reading.  Yes, he's a grumpy MLB player that feels unworthy since losing his talent.  We recieved that message quite clearly over and over and over.  The characters are not likeable. This is about the 10th book I've read by this author.  They've all been wonderful.  Not this one.  You're not missing anything by skipping this one.  They can't always be grand slams.

April and Tyler got pregnant when they were 18. She had the baby in secret and put him up for adoption. Tyler moved on with his life, becoming a MLB pitcher. Until his career came crashing down. He holed up and became a recluse until he came back to his hometown for his sister’s wedding. He reconnected with April and things between them had never been so good. But Tyler is dogged by bad press and disappointed fans, and so he has anger problems.

April wants to meet the child she put up for adoption, but Tyler doesn’t. But things don’t work out as planned. I could see the train wreck coming from a mile away yet couldn’t wait to see how it all played out.

There was a heartbreaking dark moment, a scene that gave me goosebumps, and a wonderful epilogue. I just wish the series wasn’t over.

“the Sawyer sisters have some kind of psychic network, I swear to God. They know everything about each other within minutes.”

2.5 stars.

This was so disappointing. April deserved a better story, love interest and romance.

Note: An ARC was provided by the author.

Like its predecessors, Unforgettable can be read as a standalone, however, I'm going to recommend you read the books in order if you do decide to read the entire series given that there may be spoilers with as far as recurring characters are concerned. Having said that, Melanie Harlow upped the ante with the previous novel, Unbreakable, and my expectations were right up there. Guess what? Expectations. Surpassed! I loved how April and Tyler's story had an original feel to it, and while I can't say exactly why since I don't want to this review to get all spoilery, what I will say is that theirs was romance that truly only began eighteen years after that one night they shared. Yes, there was attraction between them as teenagers, but that honest-to-goodness love and romance only truly developed between them when they were already thirty-six, both having lived separate lives. It took a bit for me to warm up to Tyler because the guy was seriously bull-headed at times, but he did earn my affection. Five-plus stars for this fifth and final book. Check out this series which started as irresistible and has become rather unforgettable. Wink. ♥

I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I am so sad that this is the final book. I loved the family in this series and I love Melanie's writing. This particular story is so emotional and full of heart. I did struggle with the main character some, but over all, I really loved reading this book. I adore Melanie Harlow's writing and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

I'm always a fan when an author handles something important in a careful way. This could have gone a bazillion different ways for the main characters and their lives if this secret was to get out. However, it was handled with care and showed not only the importance of it but how life-altering it is for all parties.

Great ending to Cloverleigh Farms.

Ahhh!! I was waiting for April’s story and I loved it!! I’m such a sucker for second chance stories ♥️ All the characters were great and I literally couldn’t put the book down! Alsooooo, seeing past characters from the series is always a delight!!
