My reactions went from "Uuuu I like this"...to (one third in) ..."seriously?"..to....(the ending) "Sure, whatever".

Spoiler alert:

The book felt like an Agatha Christie wanna be. The detective goes above and beyond a thousands time to find the real motive of the crime. The book would not be too bad if the reader would be left to take part of the investigation. However, as it's shown in the end, there are so many things that are not shared until the last two pages that makes the reader (or at least this reader) feel very disappointed.

i love the way keigo higashino writes his murders,
especially the way the murderers try to throw suspicion on themselves to eventually lead the police away from the real crime.
this book kept me guessing the entire time, like literally at the end of chapter i would have a different idea of how the whole thing went down. im not as shocked with this ending as i was with devotion of suspect x because i've already read one of his works before, but its really good.
