Zoran and Abby

This was a really awesome book. It took a little bit of time to understand this world but it was really an truly fun to get in to. I need more more more.
Ok so here's my review buy this book.
Zoran is a dragon shifter who lives on a different planet.
He was escaping from being captured, and lands in Abby's backyard so to speak.

As she nurses Zoran back to health they have this intense connection.
She protects him and he protects her from the cop.... Karma guys total Karma on that one.

Ok so I have to say my favorite part of the book is when Zoran and his brothers are on the ship back home with the humans they all gather and get drunk and complain about the ladies. Oh lord I laughed so freaking hard I had tears!

Yeah so I loved this book did I mention that? I totally did. Can tomorrow come faster I want to read book 2!

I really enjoyed this fun sexy story. It was very different than what I've listened to before. It was almost Paranormal meets Sci-Fi with aliens that shift into dragons! The characters were realistic and the sexy scenes were hot hot hot! I loved how it ended, no cliffhanger but ready for book 2. I'll will definitely continue with this series!

The narration was PERFECT! I have to say David Brenin has the best voice and I love that he doesn't really try to sound female, just softens his voice enough so you here the shift between the male & female characters! He has moved to my top 5 favorite narrators after this book!

2.5 stars. Nook freebie.

I wanted a silly, light book, and so I decided to give this a try. This is definitely the first book I have ever read about a human-like alien who crash lands on Earth who also happens to be a dragon-shifter, and has a symbiotic relationship with some kind of intelligent metal thing-y that is able to morph into a spaceship, transmit mental visual images, translate languages for you, and heal you (including your privates from too much rough sex - not kidding, that was mentioned in the book several times) among other things. So, um, yeah. This book was a little too rape-y/kidnap-y for my personal tastes. Also at the end they just threw in a bunch of characters so you'd have some bare bones descriptions of them for future books in the series, which in general I find annoying.

But despite all that, I did have a hard time putting the book down for whatever reason, so I'll give it that.

I didn't like it, plain and simple. I sound stupid saying it wasn't realistic as its a paranormal/scifi, but in terms of a humans interactions, it wasn't.

Lots and lots and lots happened, to the point it was too much, and then it ended with a sex scene with no conclusion to their troubles. I was interested in both Cara and Carmen's personalities, but this took me a long time to read and I struggled greatly so I'm unsure if I'll continue at all.

This was my first Alien abduction book, and I am giving it 2.5 stars. Overall I just thought the book was "ok". The plot and the characters were just fine, there was nothing in this book that really blew me away or made me want more. One thing I did enjoy was the fast pace that neither rushed nor slowed down, therefore I was able somewhat enjoy the story. Another thing that I did enjoy was that Smith was able to create some original species for this novel. I have never heard of dragon shifting aliens until I picked up this book, so it was nice to see some fresh ideas. I also think that Smith created a world or universe that readers could easily picture themselves in. She added many details that helped me imagine what Zoran's world was like.

When it comes to the main characters I was glad that they were both introduced separately before they ever met. Zoran, the male alien lead, was sweet and at many times controlling and jealous. His demands mixed with Abby’s will to be independent made for many interesting moments. Overall I thought this book was filled with interesting characters and an even more intriguing universe, but I just did not enjoy the overall plot of this book. I may one day give this author another go but for now, I am not sure if Alien abduction stories are for me. As always, thanks to those who read this review. Much Love!

I have purchased this as an audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed the narration. This is a great start to this series. I’m looking forward to continuing on with the next one soon.

Loved the dirty talk and passionate love scenes/mating. Enjoyed the world the author created here and her characters.

The heroine lacks curiosity to the extent that it’s giving TSTL.

No self preservation instincts, no introspection on not being alone in the galaxy, having a random man alien in her home by herself, nada.

My kingdom for a happy medium of, realistically, nervous breakdowns and bad bitches who don’t take shit.Â
