Ako film by to bolo super, ale mne to neprinieslo vôbec nič nové :D A nejako extra ma to nebavilo, hoci na konci to malo dve zaujímavé prekvapenia, čo som nečakala. Ale mne to prišlo celkom ukončené, takže ani neviem, či chcem čítať aj ďalší diel.

Ale tá kniha je absolútne nádherná <3

this whole book just screams “middle school aged boy” so i’m sure there’s plenty of 13 year olds loving this. As for me, it’s so unsubtle, even for YA. You just murdered a man, you are allowed to say “oh my god”

I love Brando Sando but I did not love this book. I may have gotten spoiled by Mistborn and Stormlight, but there was much more telling than showing us a plot that was much more simplistic than his others. I wanted to know more about the characters and their motivations, and I get that they're in an underground rebel group and they can't talk about their personal lives because *espionage* but there were almost 400 pages in this book and I feel like I should know these people better. I should especially know more about Tia and Megan, who were less fleshed out than their male counterparts (except that we know Megan is *ahem* very appealingly fleshed out in all the places that 'matter').

It made sense but felt hollow. Not sure if I'll continue the series or not.

DNF at the end of part 1, couldn't get over the main character, he's not too annoying for me to keep reading despite the interesting looking plot

Amazing story. I really have nothing negative to say about this book. Interesting and distinctive characters, unexpected plot twist, great pacing, no unnecessary events or side-characters, everything was explained in the end and everything make complete sense - 5 stars well-deserved.

Sanderson is such an amazing writer because although with 5 mins into the book, everyone would have known the ending - Death of Steelheart, the story progression still kept us on the edge of our seats, wanting to find out how David managed to do it.

I had a lot of speculations myself about Steelheart's weakness, I honestly thought friendly fire was the way to go, but it wasn't! Although I didn't think "No fear" was a well-thought out weakness, I have to admit death by his own hand was a nice twist.

Regarding Megan, I had guessed she was an Epic.. and suspected that she was Firefight - Sanderson had left a lot of clues here, BUT I was absolutely shocked to learn that Prof was an Epic too! I did not see that coming, but it all makes perfect sense. Like I said, amazing story.
