This was my first time reading a book from this author and it won’t be my last book from her. This book was amazing! I couldn’t put it down. This second chance story is filled with angst, great chemistry, suspense, and a whole bunch of steam.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

* * I HAD BEEN GIVEN AN ADVANCED READERS COPY IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW * *

This is my first book by Michelle Fernandez, but not my first in the Everyday Hero's series.

I loved this secret Baby second chance friends to lovers romance without the usual drama points. There were so many more variables to this story line that didn't make it to predictable, it was more of a one of a kind read.

It was a nice read with an easy to follow plot and while there were a lot more secondary characters than I am used to, they fit the story rather than overwhelm it. There were characters from the OG stories by K. Bromberg as well as original characters from Michelle Fernandez's books.

It was a nice combination of worlds that complimented eachother rather than over run them.

I do recommend!

Michelle Fernandez has taken the best friend/second chance trope and made it her own by giving it a fresh twist.

Sabrina and Spencer have been best friends their whole lives, when on night changed their worlds forever. This is a steamy, emotional ride of two people trying to find their way back to each other.

You are going to love all the characters in this story, they have depth and vulnerability that makes them more than just words on a page. I really enjoyed this latest addition to the Everyday Hero World.

I love a good second chance romance, and this one exceeded my expectations. So of course Michelle gave me all that, and I am over here swooning still. Of course double bonus points that this is another AMAZING Everyday Heroes World project book, and I love the books in this project so much. Six years ago the death of Sabrina’s parents brought her and Spencer home. Spencer was there for her, and also that was the night that ruined their friendship. But Spencer is headed back for another funeral and comes face to face with Sabrina and her daughter. Of course Sabrina wants nothing to do with him, but can he get her to give him a second chance so they can have their happily ever after. Michelle did an amazing job on this book. I really can’t wait to read more of her work. So if you love second chance romance, and the K. Bromberg EDH Project one click this book you won’t be sorry. Also add this to your TBR GoodReads Lists.

I love The Everyday Heroes World and all of the characters.

Distracted tells Spencer and Sabrina's story, which was a good addition to this series. I thought Sabrina's daughter, Lily, was the cutest thing ever, but I didn't like the way Sabrina handled telling her some big news. I loved the dares and history between Spencer and Sabrina.

There was love, steam, and suspense that left me wondering what would happen. I was not ready for the route this took.

If you're looking for drama, romance, and high intensity situations, you do not want to miss out on Distracted.

Distracted by Michelle Fernandez is a second chance/best friends to lovers romance written in K. Bromberg's Everyday Heroes World. Such a heartbreakingly beautiful love story. You can feel their love coming off the pages. So much tension and chemistry between Sabs and Spence. And Spencer is smoking hot! Such an emotional read you'll want to get your hands on.

Distracted is by Michelle Fernandez and part of K Bromberg's Everyday Heroes World.
It is a story of second chances, about two best friends, Sabrina Kent and Spencer Hayes. They grew up together making silly dares, having the time of their lives while silently fighting the emotions and feelings they had for each other.
They both go their separate ways but a tragedy brings them both back home and for a night they let go of everything that's been holding them back and give in.
Then like before, they go their separate ways but another tragedy brings them both home, possibly for good. They have not spoke to each other since that night. But Sabrinas Nonna made sure there would be a way they would work on that relationship.
The story tells you about them working through it and how many bumps, surprises and true love is found.

Michelle Fernandez is a talented writer and the story was done perfectly. Nothing too predictable or no lack of chemistry between the pair.

I really enjoyed the book and definitely recommend it!

I would like to thank the author and Greys Promotion for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first read of the author for me and it was a cute story. But I wanted a little bit more, it felt like there’s something missing.

I liked that Spencer and Sabrina are childhood friends. I absolutely adored that. But when Spencer return home after 6 years, they couldn’t be what they were before. His life was never the same again. There are just so many regrets and secrets between them so it wasn’t an easy journey for them.

The twist in the story was one I didn’t see coming, but I liked it. And Lily, Sabrina’s daughter totally stole the show. She’s so cute and funny. Overall, this was an enjoyable read for me.

While I'm familiar with K Bromberg's books, I haven't read any of the Everyday Heroes stories. But that didn't stop me from checking out the books in this world. With that said, this book is a standalone. Whatever references were made to K's books were explained and/or expertly weaved into this story.

This book checked a bunch of my favorite topics...secret baby, friends to lovers, and second chances with a happily ever after ending. Sabrina, Callie, and Spencer have been best friends since they were kids. Except Callie bowed out of the shenanigans Sabrina and Spencer got themselves into. My heart broke into a thousand pieces at the level of loss Sabrina experienced in a relatively short period of time. And Spencer was always there. Late, but there. I truly thought that after that one night, Sabrina and Spencer would move their relationship to the next level, but life isn't as cut and dried as that. He was feeling all kinds of guilt unrelated to what they did. For friends who talked about everything, they sure forgot how to be honest and frank with each other. But I get why. It was all these different, broken pieces of each other that needed to be cobbled together by the both of them to have them live the fairy tale. Like the characters, their story broke me and then pieced me back together.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.
