I can't do it, it's too tense. I got thru the first book but this is too much for my delicate sensibilities, lol. I got to 50%, but I'm not gonna count it towards my read count.

I finished this book in a day. Pretty much just like the first one I couldn't put it down. I listened to it in the car, at work, even during my workout. Seriously really good. I loved the way the author added everyone else to the story by giving them their own chapters. I really wish she had given Melvin one just so we as the readers could really know just what he was thinking. There were times while reading/listening to this book that I yelled at the characters wanting to know what the hell they were thinking or why they were doing something that was so clearly stupid!!! I don't want to do any spoilers at all. I may do a more thorough writing on my blog later on since I'm still at work. But now I'm bummed because I have to wait until the end of the year to figure out what happens next. I do hope though that the third will be the last book. Just because I can't bare to see these characters go through any thing else. I know that the way the book ended that there was clearly so many ways this could go so I have no doubt in my mind that the third book will be just as awesome as the first two.

I liked Killman Creek better than [b:Stillhouse Lake|33128934|Stillhouse Lake (Stillhouse Lake, #1)|Rachel Caine|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1495714483l/33128934._SY75_.jpg|53802245]. Caine wastes no time getting the story started and the entire book held my interest. I didn't love four different perspectives but thankfully there were only a few chapters dedicated to the kids.

I couldn’t put this book down, there was so much action going on throughout the whole story. It was basically a big cat and mouse dynamic but with multiple cats and mice - basically everyone was hunting or being hunted. These characters are growing on me and I’m excited to continue the series with the third installment. I’m surprised I haven’t heard much about this series because it’s very good so far!
