The worst entry in the series and sad to say, a disappointing book in general. The previous book sets up the main antagonist of the series in the background but none of that is expanded upon. Not having a formidable villain really affects the stakes of the story. The plot resolution is too abrupt. There is also a key moment in this resolution which was supposed to be incredibly emotional but I sadly felt nothing for it. Furthermore, Karthik and Surapadman not fighting a 1v1 is a literal crime.
This book being significantly longer than the rest of the series and being set with the responsibility to take the story home fails miserably in its job. Further, it has terribly affected how I feel about the series as a whole and has killed any interest I had in reading Amish’s other books.

The finale to the trilogy sets the stage and devotes the entire 2nd half to the death of Sati. Anyone who reads through the start immediately knows the end and you go through the book to see how Amish imparts his usual style to the book.
This was the 2nd best in the series and was very preachy in tone. The author tries to get into some interesting questions but ends up sounding like my moral science teacher.
There are no surprises since we have already been introduced to all the characters. The writing was quite flat although he has made a good effort on the war strategies. The ending chapters were disappointing since it seemed like he was in a hurry to tie up everything related to the legend.
He has already announced his next book on the Mahabharata in the last paragraph which many authors before him have unsuccessfully ventured into.
Read if you have nothing better to do on your weekend or just want to finish the series

Please read my review of the first book of this trilogy. I still stand by my first review that this trilogy is a good blend of 'masala' but at the same time people new to Indian mythology should definitely read it. Irregularities do pop out here and there but the reader can dismiss it and enjoy the story. Two stars for the last book of the series as events unfold at a very slow pace, the publisher trying to churn more and more pages for no reason.
I am of the opinion that Devdutt Patnaik is better at retelling Indian mythology.

A fast paced book , though not upto the mark of the first two....Few instances were unnecessarily brought into picture. Ending could have been better..
But Kudos to Amish ji for his efforts on bringing in a great Hindu mythology into a clear understanding for people like me :) :)
Take a go on the series and you will remember it all through yur life :D
