•What did I think of this book?
This was a good read. It shows how we adapt after actions of our childhood. Or react to trama. At 12 years old, Chloe Davis comes face to face with true fear when one of the people who was supposed to protect and love her might be a killer. On the 20th anniversary of the killings and close to her wedding day. Girls start to go missing, and someone is sending a message. But to who? Some secrets aren't meant to stay buried.

Quite literally, an ending I did not expect. I'm intrigued and was wanting more. I wanted to know more about the "after" and was left with many unanswered questions. I was disappointed with how her marriage turned out, but I guess that adds to the ending. Very well written and articulated.
There were pieces that didn't line up - and some psychological facts that just weren't true. As many reviews had mentioned, the quote of how she maintained her PhD and then hoped to go back for her masters is just one part of the prose that was a major mistake. But all in all I did find the novel to be entertaining and a good read. Not my favorite, but still worth the read.
