I'm torn, truly. This book is probably a two, but I gotta give it a three for two reasons - well, maybe three reasons.
1. Sex. Yeah, maybe Leo and Alex have it a little more than I remember people having sex when I was in high school, but the way they talk about it so refreshing. AND THE MASTURBATION. NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT IT AND THIS BOOK DID SO THAT WAS AN A+ MOVE RIGHT THERE.
2, 3. Alex and Becca. First off, the amount of snark and sass from the both of them was wonderful. I loved every minute I saw of either of them. Second, they were very unique voices, refreshing to see.
Bad things? The writing was okay, the plot was all over the place, and all the horror movies/pop culture drops annoyed me, but I guess the good outweighed the bad for me on this book.

Gah, such a great book. Endless, perfectly-toned snark, laugh out loud, realistic portrait of grief and fear of death and losing, and sexual positivity.

Honestly, the premise behind this book is pretty fantastic - I love the thought of living every day as your last. I enjoyed most of the book. All of that being said, I felt like sex was just being thrown in our faces over and over and again. While reading the book I just felt like there was so much more that could have been done with the book in the seemingly millions of times sex was used. Besides that little fact, I quite enjoyed the book.

Girl's father dies and best friend gets cancer, Alex, the main character, was super annoying/irritating. I had high hopes, but the character interactions and characters were annoying and missing depth. There is little else to say about it.

I got the book because the title grab my attention. I was not impressed with the book. It's about two best friends that have spoken in some time, Alex and Becca. Becca has cancer and creates a bucket list for Alex to complete.
It's a sweet story but it seems that the author was trying to do too much. There were so many references to pop culture. I felt distracted by these references to keep going on with the story.
