Would have been five stars if Artemis wasnt portrayed as wanting and having sex with Acheron. I get that there's probably a backstory for this in a later book, but since in the Greek myths Artemis was a virgin goddess who didn't want anything to do with men, I was more irritated than in intrigued with her depiction.

This book was really hard for me to get into. The insta-love match and Sunshine's immaturity really bugged me. It took me quite awhile to get over it, once I did I was fine and I enjoyed aspects of the book, but not the book as a whole.

This one took longer to get into than I had expected and that's why it's a two. The combination of different pantheons made it a tad confusing and wasn't written anywhere near as well as Neil Gaiman's American Gods which sort of did the same, though of course his protagonist wasn't an 'immortal' demon hunter!

Talon is an interesting character and Sunshine was definitely different but that's all...starting to see a bit of a pattern with the development of each of these books though this one was definitely longer!

I enjoyed the book, but after reading the BDB series, it has many similarities, and I prefer the JR Ward series. Might carry on reading the other books in the dark hunter series...

Sherrilyn Kenyon never disappoints. I really loved this book and couldn't put it down! Lots of homour, action, romance, and more laughter!! I just loved it. I absolutely love all the dark hunters. And Talon is one hell of a sexy Celt. If you're looking for a book with a lot of action, mythology, mystery, dark, sexy, troubled heroes, with a good romance, then any Dark Hunter novel will do. The whole series is exceptional!

Relectura.

This series is awesome. I love the struggles that the characters go through and the way things turned out in this one was interesting!

As the 2nd book in the series of the Dark Hunters, I really enjoyed Talon and Sunshine's story. I also loved the deeper look in Ash and a few other Hunters. Sherrilyn Kenyon has quickly become on of my favorite artists for her writing style and ability to really draw you in to the book.
