Her Revenge is the second and final installment within The Shattered Isle duology. Just like the first one, I completely devoured this book. Now I'm just sort of in a book hangover situation because I need to get my hands on Gessi's book stat!

Other than that, it takes a while for Cari to realize what her father is actually doing. Which, I can't really blame the girl because she is having all sorts of yummy romance times with the guys. That is until they split up because they have so many territories to cover and protect. On top of all that, she finds out that her sister from another mister is captured by her father and the evil general.

So, she does what any good person would do. She tires out her mates and leaves them while they are sleeping to go save her friend. Once they figure it out, they are super pissed but run off to go help her anyways. Lots of chaos and fighting towards the end. Which sort of felt rushed to me but now we have a general on the run.

I will definitely be jumping into Gessi's story because she's going to have her hands full with her own guys. Plus, I really need the general to be found and killed. Just saying.

Decent conclusion. Overall the series was decent, I loved the idea more than the execution.

I was so excited when I saw this book came out. I loved it but there was only one thing I found off. Gessi I don’t remember ceri mentioning her in the first book at least not as her BFF/sister who she would die for. I think she was mentioned as her her handmaiden/friend. I could be wrong but to me it felt out of place or like it came out of left field. Still enjoyed the book and can’t wait to see how gessi is handeling being queen of the isle and how she handling those four guys. Are they mates. I have a feeling at least crane and gessi are mates and maybe varian or what ever his name is based on how he reacted when gessi was unconscious.

so far this series has been okay, I am not a prude and don't get me wrong I like a good smutty book, but it irritates me when the smut overwhelms what could have been a great story. I am hoping the rest of this series brings the story into the forefront but alas I feel this is an empty wish.

JMO. read it if you want. smut factor 10

I’m so disappointed with the ending. The same thing happened with the first book. I feel like the writer rushes the ‘big fight’. This story had so much potential. I personally think it would have been better for Cari’s character if her Dad killed some of her mates before he died.
I think that when they were fighting in the fire realm, before Blaize came to the rescue, Steel should have died. Everything was going downhill, Cari had a perfect view of him but couldn’t get to him. I think that would have given her more drive to kill her dad.
I think it should have been Steel because Cari seems the closest to him.
Also her Dad is supposed to be a very powerful man, yet he doesn’t ever put up much of a fight?

The writer has put in wayyyyy too many spicy chapters. It got too much. I’m the end I did end up skipping the spicy bits. I was more interested in the story line. Having too much spice made me lose interest

Not to be dramatic but this series is my true love. There’s only one thing that I love in life as much as my books and that’s marvel. I’m beyond blessed to receive an arc of this gem.

I couldn’t stop obsessing over Lock (Loki) in the first book and I am even more obsessed with him in book two. But big shocker as I am the biggest Loki fan. I still had to fight the urge to tab all of his lines. Whenever he said “darling,” I literally melted!

All of the marvel references that Jade hides throughout her books are brilliant and make me incredibly happy. I won’t spoil any but always be on the lookout for them!

Jade also introduced new marvel characters in this one and I’m OBSESSED! I love the new additions and I won’t spoil all of them, but just know if you’re a Bucky fan, you’ll be happy.

I was also excited to see that Jade has another book about this world coming out this summer! I cannot wait!

Not enough plot to blance the spice. Ordinary spice.
