4 amazing stars!!
The first book was my favourite to be honest, but this one was amazing as well.

Three months after Quin transferred to Patrol and discovered the terrible truth about The Beck. She has joined the Resistance and she is determined to save lives and make a difference. There are more secrets to be discovered.
“She did not look upon him as a human life, as precious as any other. She saw him as an intriguing reaction to an experiment.”

Governance will do anything to protect the work they’ve worked years to achieve, even if it means killing others. To Governance humans are assets, disposable.

The writing is still captivating as ever, and it’s so easy to lose yourself in the book.

The characters though… Quin was a bit annoying. Cameron on the other hand *swoons*, well honestly at first I wanted to hit him in the face, but then I just wanted to grab him and run off into the sunset or something.

The story was well-paced, not much happened at first, then the last 2-ish chapters happened… let’s just say that things took a very, very unexpected turn…
I felt like I was running a marathon or something, nearly had a heart attack –or several heart attacks- I was practically flying through the pages to see what happens..
Then my heart broke.. but I didn’t even have time to mourn.. I kept going..
Then…
cliffhanger
WHY???? Just why??
Next book please? please?? *weeps*

I am loving this series so much. At the end of book 1 Quin has found out what what really happens behind the scenes of The Beck. As we get into book 2, more and more horrendous things begin to happen, rules are challenged, rules are broken, new relationships and alliances are formed. New story lines are opened as we learn more about other sectors. This story feels as though it is the calm before the ultimate storm as plans for escape become more and more urgent. I usually have issues with the second books in series but not only did this book pull me out of a reading slump, rather than just aiding the stories development, this instalment started to delve further into other characters stories. We still get to keep an eye on our trio although Harper being in Clearance has her being a smaller part in this story in the beginning. Eagerly awaiting book 3

The writing is so basic. The premise sounds good for these books, but the execution is not good.

Disclosure: I was given an ARC of the complete series by the author. This is my complete and honest review of the series.

I absolutely loved this series. The synopsis of the plot really intrigued me when I first saw this series. This book follows Quin and her life in "The Beck", a dystopian society. In each book, you follow Quin grow and find herself and what is important to her. I typically read a lot of romance books, but this book really caught my attention in other ways, which honestly is slightly unusual for me. While there is romance sprinkled throughout the series, it is more of a subplot than the main focus. To be completely honest, a lot of the time I will kinda zone out of series like this, but this book kept me completely interested until the very end. The plot is so well thought out and develops in a great way. I read each book in a day, as I never wanted to put it down because there was always some aspect of unknown hanging in the air. If I could have changed one thing about the series, it would just be the way it was ended in the epilogue. It was wrapped up well, but I wished for slightly more on the solution aspect and more exploration of Quin's romantic life afterward, but that is probably the romance enthusiast in me. Overall, I highly recommend this series. I guarantee that 99% of you will love it.

I absolutely loved Flow, the first book in the series, and I was excited to read the second installment.

Whereas in the first book our main character Quin makes a lot of discoveries about The Beck, this one is more focused on how she and her friends try and find a way to fight back with the Resistance. Of course there are more secrets to be discovered and the only way to do that is to keep your head down and your eyes open.

While Break did not quite live up to my (high) expectations, in the over-arching story you really feel Break is gearing up to a pretty epic climax in the next book.

I really like Littlemore’s writing style. It is simple and engaging. Overall Break was a little less exciting than Flow, but it ended on a fantastic cliffhanger and I absolutely want to know how this story continues. I am looking forward to reading the next book when it comes out.
