I didn't mind the slowness, I think it fitted this book. I did hated the way the men thought about women in this, and the rape dream. It was very unethical and not needed imo.

I loved the physiological way of describing the events and the imagination that was needed to write this book.

It's definitely not for everyone.

Efectivamente, Murakami no tiene la menor idea del contacto femenino en la vida real, pero si algo le puedo atribuir es su capacidad para escribir historias extrañas, que tengan dentro como subgénero tantas categorías que me sería imposible nombrarlas todas. Durante toda la historia sentí mucha piedad por Kafka y definitivamente no me esperaba muchas cosas siendo que de alguna manera sentirá que tenían que pasar.

Þessa bók keypti ég fyrir ca 2 árum en ég byrjaði ekki á henni fyrr en ári seinna, því ég að bíða eftir „fullkomna augnablikinu” eða eh álíka. Hefði bara átt að byrja á henni strax því það tók mig asnalega langan tíma að komast í gegnum hana.

Mér þykir vænt um hana…ekki vegna þess að mér fannst hún góð, heldur vegna þess að mér tókst að dröslast með hana með mér til barcelona á tónlistarhátíð, á listasmiðju á seyðisfirði, í fjölskylduferð til kanarí eyja, í skiptinám til kaupmannahafnar og aftur heim til íslands, því ég var svooo ákveðin að vilja klára hana. Svo samdi ég líka lag um þessa bók en það er allt annað mál.

Hún er mjög skrýtin og jafnvel þótt hún sé spennandi er ég er ekki svo viss um að ég myndi mæla með henni. En ég gef henni 4 stjörnur fyrir að vera plássfrek í töskunni minni.
