I absolutely love this series and Halton and Fiona were no exception. The love that grew between these two characters was gorgeous and really sweet with Fiona showing Halton that he was capable of a lasting relationship. Halton showed Fiona she could trust and open herself up again after so many years of being shut down in her marriage. This was a really beautiful story in the series.

There is just something about this series that is magic. I had thought the series was over , so discovering this book was a pleasant surprise. I liked the connection between Halton and Fionna. I also really liked the interaction and tie-in with the previous characters.

I highly recommend this series to anyone that loves strong characters, great storylines and fantastic happily ever afters.

Of all of the books in the series, this was my least favorite. I couldn't connect with Halton. I'm not sure why.

The story was ok. It may have been more interesting if there had been more interaction with Fee's ex, Scott. I liked Rene. The BAM guys made brief appearances.

I really wish I could put my finger on it, but I can't. The story didn't do much for me. Maybe because Fee was supposed to be so beat down by her marriage, but she jumped into filling in for Rene with all of the self confidence of someone who had been in the workforce forever.

It all felt a bit bland and off balance. I was surprised. I did have favorites in this series, but this is the first one that left me meh.

Halton was a brief player in the end of Van's story and I was so excited to see he got his own book! Someone who is that passionate in making sure children are taken care of and not used as pawns intrigued me and I couldn't wait to see who captured his interest!

Fiona happens to be divorcing Halton's nemesis and knows that Halton is the only one who can help her. She's left reeling by the sudden end of her decade long marriage and Halton is there for her every step of the way. Soon, a close friendship and working relationship turn to passion and Halton is left fighting demons left over from a bad childhood in order to get out of his own way and build a life with Fee. Loved them both!!

Wow - once again Melanie Moreland adds another hot and sexy man into the Vested Interest group. We have all known Hal as the hard edged attorney who takes no prisoners and always fights to win, but we have never seen his softer side. When a brief encounter with his arch rival's wife comes into play Fiona (Fee) takes Hal into uncharted waters. But can she soften his rough exterior and grab hold of his heart? Can Hal fight for her in and out of the courtroom? Beautifully written and emotionally driven. Once I started it I could not put it down. Five stars are not enough!!

Halton IS perfection!

Where do I even begin? I devoured this book in one day - Melanie Moreland's work has that effect on me. She knows how to damage her heroes enough to make me fall for them just as quickly as the heroine does and Halton easily became my new favourite... Until the next hero!

Oh this book was such a good read. Who doesn't love an alpha male with a heart of gold even if he tries to hide it and is a bit grumpy. Loved this story and Halton's and Fiona's journey to each other, they were absolutely perfect for each other.
Another must read by Melanie Moreland.

Let me be with you, Fee. Tonight. Tomorrow. Always.

Halton played a big part in Van & Liv's story so I am thrilled that he got to find his own happily ever after. Fiona is an unexpected client of Hal's and she manages to worm her way into the heart of the man who thought he couldn't love anyone. This story was full of heat, full of heart and full of love - for yourself and those around you. Just beautiful.

Once again this series continues to entertain me with its easy and lighthearted atmosphere even when things are quite dark.
I love Hal and Fiona and their slow up and down relationship. I was once again super invested in their romance. They both deserve all the good things they can possibly get.
This is truly an easy to read, lighthearted romance and I loved reading it!
