Ugh, another favorite of the year!

Evan is an English cinnamonroll, so lovable, caring, protective with a gold heart.
He’s so driven by the desire to help people that just touched me.

Wren is a strong female with great wit and she knows how to do all kinds of jobs. I love the job she had at the beginning.
She has bad thing’s happened to her in a previous relationship which I didn’t see it coming. That just goes to show that even the strongest women at some point in her life couldn’t always be strong or understand what’s happening before it’s too late.

Evan and Wren are amazing together and what they got through just broke my heart to the point I shed tears for them. I just wished I could’ve had an epilogue, just more of them. But I’m happy with how things turned out at the end.

And the sexy times?

Two and a half stars.

Wren, the only daughter of seven O’Brien siblings is a mouthy car sales person.

Evan is a mild mannered genius nerd from England looking for a more rugged car to cope with the Philly weather. Wren sells him a car but the sparks fly and they become more.

When Wren’s psychotic ex deliberately torches her place of work she comes to act as Evan’s PA and help him save his company.

This has billionaire nerds, psychotic ex-cops, jealous PAs, unscrupulous adversaries, an electronic ever/present ‘assistant’ and endless sex. OMG no wonder the company is circling the drain, Evan spends like 15 hours a day in his office having sex with Wren. Watching themselves in home videos and taking erotic selfies.

This was just ludicrous, unbelievable, ridiculous and OTT.

Ever since my maternity leave started I’ve been on a reading spree. And I’m so happy with that, because I lost my reading mojo for a while. Not only do I enjoy reading a lot again at the moment, I also enjoy listening to audiobooks while I’m busy preparing for the arrival of our baby girl. So when I saw the sign up for ‘Crave Me’ I knew I just had to request an audiobook for this one. And thankfully I got it. ‘Crave Me’ is the third book in the Family O’Brien series but can be read as a standalone.

In ‘Crave Me’ we meet Wren O’Brien. Wren is the only girl from a big Irish family and she has always been surrounded by her brothers. Wren is definitely what you call a tough girl. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and she takes care of the people she loves. But Wren holds a secret about her ex-boyfriend. And now he is trying to make her life miserable. Thankfully Wren soon meets Evan Jonah a handsome and rich businessman who just moved here from London. And he is the perfect distraction. From the moment Wren and Evan meet there are sparks flying everywhere. And although Wren tries to stop it, soon she just can’t deny her feelings anymore.

‘Crave Me’ is my second Cecy Robson book and I must say I’m totally loving her stories. Although, as with all audiobooks, it took me a little while to get into this story, I definitely loved both main characters Wren and Evan. They were just so fun to get to know. I loved how feisty and tough Wren was. And the stories she told made me laugh out loud many times. And Evan.. well I just adored him. He was so sweet to Wren and I loved the way he was so open about his feelings for her.

Like I said, the beginning of this audiobook took me a little time to get used too. The narrator Tara Langella talked with this accent when she spoke as Wren and I always need to get used to that. I honestly wasn’t really sure I was able to enjoy this book because of that accent. But thankfully the accent started to grow on me, and before I started the third chapter I loved this audiobook and the narrator. Above all I loved the way her voice altered between Wren and Evan. It definitely made me want to keep on listening.

The romance between Wren and Evan was really good. Cecy Robson definitely did a great job with that. There was a lot of chemistry, mystery and plenty of toe-curling sexy moments. I still would have loved this book if there were a little less sex scenes, but I guess this fitted the characters.

‘Crave Me’ was definitely a very enjoyable and fun audiobook for me. And it made me want to check out the other books in this series. I just have to know more about those O’Brien brothers.

I enjoyed the book and didn’t realize I’d already read the first two books in the series. The only thing that irritated me was the accent for Ren, it was driving me freaking crazy. I’m guessing I’ll more than likely slowly make my way through the rest of the books.

Erin “Wren” O’Brien is all about helping people. Evan Jonah is trying to rebuild the family business. The author created a great first meeting between these two characters. The scene even gets me to laughing. So if you don’t want to explain what you’re laughing about, just be mindful of who is around you. It certainly grabbed my attention and had me looking forward to seeing where our author was going to take the story.

It was at that point where I fell in love with Wren – I wanted her to be my friend. My only concern is my choice of sports teams and would that be a deal breaker. She also had a way of getting under Evan’s skin and he was left with no choice but to let her into his life. Wren is an excellent reason to go back and read the previous two books if you haven’t had the chance already. Evan is a very likable character but Wren’s character “spoke” to me. But I will say that I love how protective he is as the story progresses.

Now the author could have just created the story about Wren and Evan but she goes the extra mile for her readers. Since this is an O’Brien tale, you get some of her brothers making an appearance. Then Ms. Robson has created the ex from hell. He’s another reason that you may continue to read this book because you want to know what he has planned. This story has the right combination that will have you turning the page to know how everything turns out. The hardest part for me was trying to find the right place to stop when other parts of my life needed my attention. But it is a book that if you do have the chance would make a good marathon read.

There’s plenty of suspense and action right up until the very end. But expect to have a smile on your face when you get there. Evan knows just the right words to have that grin in place. This author certainly has me looking forward to the next O’Brien family adventure. I can also see myself reading this series in order when all is said and done.

. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

3.5 StarsThis is my first book by this author and while it is part of a series, you are definitely able to read it as a standalone.

Wren and Evan were interesting characters and I loved their relationship. I liked how tough she was, how willing she was to do what was necessary for her family, how close they all were. I liked Evan as well, and the things he was willing to give up in order to save the company.

The writing was strong and so was the packing, for the most part. I was not all that fond with the subplots with the secondary characters, as I thought a few of them detracted from the story...however, it is also one of the issues I had. I thought there were important parts of the story that were not included, meetings, events, weddings that are made a big deal are not addressed in the story. I think, for me to like this more, I would have liked fewer secondary characters and more time spent with the main characters and a few of those who were close to them.

That said, I enjoyed the book. The chemistry was hot, it was well written, and I am definitely going to read Cecy Robson's next title.
