Love these two characters. He's a quarterback for a NFL team and she's hiding. From her past (which remains a mystery throughout the book,) and from relationships. In fact she helps people break up from unhealthy relationships. This story is the opposite of most romances... he doesn't want just the sex. He wants the commitment. She's the one fighting it.

As far as their characters go, he is really a nice guy all round, despite being a pro athlete. He isn't cocky or arrogant. He isn't a player. If you have read 'He Loves Me... Knot' you will recognize several of the characters. (This is a stand alone though, so don't fret.) You will probably want to read it after this because you'll love Becket (the Hero) and want to read more about him, and see more of his past. She is smart and witty, yet has a vulnerability about her. She also has secrets from her past that cause her to not believe in love. Those secrets also cause her to break his heart. (Have no fear, this does have a happy ending.) She's had a tough childhood that left her jaded.

As far as the story goes, there's a lot of sweet to it. There aren't really any up and downs with their emotions (other than the one biggie that causes them to break up.) She has doubts and is slow going, but once she allows it to happen, it's all good.... until her secrets come out. The side characters are a hoot and bring a lot of humor to the book. And of course there is some sexy time. I know I keep talking about the sweet, but this book the perfect combination of sweet and sexy.

The book reads easily, alternating between POV's. It's quick, flows smoothly. It does jump ahead in the timeline throughout. So the book takes place over the course of 5-6 months. Suitable for mature readers.

This book was really good, well written and fast paced. Not my first book from this author and won't be my last, I like her writing style and her humor. I really enjoyed the banter between Ivy and Becket, and laughed hard at Becket's friends, they need their own stories! I've loved Becket since his appearance in He Loves Me... Knot as Blue's best friend and it was great to catch up with Emma and Knox in this story. Plenty of plot twists to keep it engaging as well. Hopefully more to come from this author, would love to see Tank, Dax, or Darcy's story (or maybe more from the elusive Leif) in future books!

This book was AMAZING!! Ivy-the girl who is NEVER going to commit...has the perfect business. Ditched. Ivy, her sister Darcy, and their tech guru Leif own and operate a break-up company. Yup, they will help you break up with who you are dating. Perfect for a non-dating girl. Then there’s Becket. Becket is EVERYTHING!! Swoon!! He doesn’t do one night stands. Nope, this stud wants to be in a committed relationship. Somehow these two slide into dating...but Ivy has a secret. A secret that can tear them apart. Perfect amount of hot, hot, hot, angst and drama! I loved getting a glimpse of what Blue and Knox are up to now as well!!

Talk about a beautiful sports romance! Ummmm...I’m not even sure how to write this review. It’s that good y’all!! Woah....like make you melt good! RC Boldt has written an all consuming read that will make your heart so happy! Ditched takes us on a journey of trying to move forward but not fully being able to because of the past. But as long as love is the endgame they can and will get passed all of the obstacles in their way.

Ivy Hayes hasn’t really had that good of a childhood, plagued with not truly being loved and shown affection she has sworn off love. That is until she meets Becket Jones star NFL quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Everything she ever thought changes once she starts seeing him.

Becket Jones isn’t that flashy NFL Qb everyone thinks he should be. He’s more humble and he’s more stable. Friends would almost call him perfect. (And he is, dang that man can make you swoon!) His whole world changes once he meets Ivy.

We follow these two through many emotions and many secrets. We get to see them grow together before things get turned upside down. We watch as two people fall in love and overcome some hiccups along the way. This book is emotional, this book is hot, and this book makes your heart full! It’s the perfect package. Highly recommended.

I totally fell in love with Becket Jones and I have been waiting for his story! Becket is the whole package. Fun, sexy, he gives back to the community ten-fold, does anything and everything for his friends and family. Becket is not out looking for the next hook-up, he’s looking for the woman who could be the ONE. He’s the ultimate dream guy.

Ivy is not relationship material and she is in no way looking for the ONE. She runs a company called Ditched and helps people to make their way out of the relationship that no longer works for them. There is a lot to Ivy, yet not too many people know the real her. Ivy’s walls are built tall and are extra thick to keep any closeness of a potential relationship at bay.

Yet once Becket and Ivy meet, he seems to take those walls down brick by brick. But when Ivy’s past comes into their future, all bets are off on who is really about to get Ditched.

I truly enjoyed every minute of this book. Becket is the dream guy, plain and simple and I loved how he took his time with Ivy and seemed to know what she needed to feel safe and loved. The banter between them was funny, sexy and the chemistry was simply perfect. At some points though, I was extremely aggravated with Ivy as I thought we’d never find out what was the underlying issue of her not be able to get close to Becket. When it finally came to light, WOW.

Ditched is the perfect read with a ton of heart with just a little bit of angst that will just make your heart so full in the end!

Ivy has made a career out of breaking people up amicably, and after her own experiences doesn't really believe in relationships or in happily ever after.

Becket is a relationship kind of guy. Being a quarterback for the NFL he hasn't had any issues getting women but what he doesn't expect is the woman who drives up on a motorcycle to help his teammate break up with his girlfriend. He is instantly intrigued by her, but when he finds out she doesn't do relationships he doesn't know what to do. She also knows nothing about him which he finds to be a welcome relief.

While this felt a little too much like trying to change her mind, once you find out her history you can kinda understand why she didn't believe in relationships.

I literally read this one in less than a day. Becket is a humble human being - damn near perfection for a guy his age, playing professional football. That is until everything goes upside down when Ivy, the gal who doesn't relationship, walks into his life. These two are water and oil, it's so fun to see their chemistry, and their vulnerabilities shine through. This book was raw, and emotional. There are past secrets and hurts at play, and it's a tough terrain to manage. It was fun to dig into the why of it all. I truly devoured every word of this book like a delicious slice of warm brownie mixed with vanilla ice cream. So sweet, cozy, and enticing!

The beginning of RC Boldt’s Ditched swept me right up into the story. There’s a fun sense of playfulness and an interesting role reversal with Ivy not wanting relationships and Becket certain that his interactions with Ivy could lead to something important.

Unfortunately, I found that the middle dragged, the pacing felt off, and then nearing the end, Ditched came to life again with action and a huge information glut that, while interesting, should probably have been spread out a bit.

The writing is good, and Boldt’s sense-of-humor frequently shines.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
