This book was amazing!! I laughed till I cried.
Characters that you'll fall in love with and will have you in fits of laughter, a storyline that'll have you completely hooked, smouldering, passionate sex that'll have you melting to the floor. What more could you possibly want?!
I loved every minute of this story and I can't wait to start book 2. :-)

I had originally read this when this book was first published - so 2012 / 2013. I remember enjoying my time with it enough to read the next book too.
Recently after reading [b:One Night Stand|2594488|One Night Stand|Julie Cohen|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1348255204l/2594488._SY75_.jpg|2241177] which has a sort of similar premise (see: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3327241123?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1) I’ve decided to give this book a re-read. Well at least the premise of a noisy neighbor was similar enough to make me want to give this book a whirl.
This time I listened to the book on audio, which is usually not my preferred format for reading romance novels (because it takes forever to get through them). It was a mostly successful experiment which I may repeat with the next book in this series. I did give up on the audio for the last 40% because IT WAS JUST TAKING TOO LONG!!
The first half of the novel on audio was quite a lot of fun. Yes, the humour has dated a bit - it feels like the late Sex and the City seasons - but the audio allows the humour to land better I think. The narrator obviously took the text more seriously than I, which helped keep me focused. I found myself rolling my eyes a little when I was reading the book physically during the second half.
However, this eye rolling could have been that the last 40% dragged. The couple declared their love for each other with another 6 chapters to go, so the last section basically was an overly extended epilogue. Yes, there is a lingering issue that the couple have to work through but the romance portion of the book is over with 40% left, which makes for uneven pacing. The last few chapters didn’t have any stakes so I couldn’t take it anymore and just finished it physically.
In the end, I am maintaining my 3 star rating - I liked the book even though the humour is very cheesy and the book is quite superficial. I mean, our heroine named her organism and personifies it! Yes, it was a bit Inner Goddess - but given that 50 Shades and this book were published within a year of each other, I am thinking this is a general humour quirk of the period. For some reason, it worked for me - it was so silly and mindless.
Fun book which you can read with your brain on a much needed vacation.

Cute read. I enjoyed it but I was really surprised that this was a series. I think I skimmed Book 2 as well which was sweet.

I liked the book but I find myself cringe so much with the terms used in the book.
I'm a fan of romance book with direct sex language.

4 Huge Stars!!
Fantastic!
This book was sooo funny, it was just what I needed, a nice read full of laughs and steamy situations!
And of course, full of Wallbanger! Simon... *sigh*
I'm now a fan of Alice Clayton, her writing was brilliant! She had me smiling most of the time, and drooling over our Wallbanger. God, he was sexy.
When I read the description I thought it was pretty unique, and then I saw a lot of people here talking about this so I got very curious myself. And it didn't disappoint.
A girl who lost her O, a guy who can make a woman meow or giggle in bed... it looked pretty interesting. And I always love some romance between neighbors.
At first I thought Simon was the typical womanizer, but I'm glad I was wrong and we get to know more about his personality, that and his sexiness combined are the perfect mix. Also he has a great taste in music and he's a photographer! I liked him more and more with every page.
About Caroline, she was amazing, her talks with herself were so funny, and even with the cat, Clive. This was a very peculiar pussy, and sometimes I found him a bit annoying, comical and unrealistic but at the end you can't help but loving him too.
Even the secondary characters were great. This story has it all, it's very complete.
And the steamy scenes.... oh God. I loved the relationship between Caroline and Simon from the start. The way it grows with time. They start getting into each other nerves, but then their friendship is really awesome until they can't fight their feelings anymore. I liked the fact it wasn't rushed and it made sense. You could cut the sexual tension with a knife, it made you want more and more.
Sometimes I like when the H/h hit it off from the start, but in this case I liked the pace of things. That kind of anticipation was exciting and made you want to know when they were going to get together. And of course, if the O was going to come back.
The last part of the book made up for all the time we didn't get any action.
I highly recommend this book, it has humor, likeable characters and lots of sexy times.

Spoiler
I still can't believe Clive stopped her big O! She was so close... and in that moment I had to read the scene again because I was like... "What the hell is happening?" I found that scene a bit off...Even the secondary characters were great. This story has it all, it's very complete.

The only way i can describe it is:
Millennial Cringe
Between the “not like other girls” comments, cringy writing and this book being waaaaaay longer than it needed to be, I think one star is generous.

This is really a very poor novel and i feel mislead by all the positive and most likely either fake reviews or from a population of neurotic people (mostly teenage girls) with very low IQs. It is really shameful and I feel angry that I can no longer trust the ratings on this site because of such level of stupidity. And this site can benefit greatly from banning childish and offensive reviews that are 90% memes and GIFs and allow only reviews written by normal adults.

I read this book after reading silence of the lamb to have a breather
Did the job perfectly
It’s easy to read and a bit longer than expected
Not bad but a bit too much graphic content
