This is a fantastically educational book that covers all things related to anxiety—mainly why people have it, and what to do about it. A great resource for anyone with anxiety or anyone with family and friends that struggle with it.

I listened to the audio version of this book. It's my first book by this author and I loved it. It was relatable, funny, informative and so helpful.
I immediately started another one of her books.

I mean, it's fine? it's fine! definitely not the thing I've found most helpful or explorative by this author, but still very well researched and written as usual! I especially appreciated the discussions around "alternative" (ie non Western) modalities, though there could have been more explicit tips and information around cultural appropriation/modality theft than there was (and there was definitely some). I think because I experience C/PTSD symptoms specifically and not something like a general anxiety disorder the discussions, tips, and exercises just didn't hit right for me overall.
honestly my main takeaway is that I'll stay going to therapy for now LOL /lh

Above all, I loved the use of « crude wording » (fuck, etc.)
Gave an insight on why anxiety happens, the diversity of the trouble, aswell as some treatments available & little tricks.
